    Also, most lap harps are tuned to the key of g major which the lowest string is g, or c. The lowest string still being tuned to g, however, I actually like the lower tunings. I find that if you can tune a lap harp to the key of g or c, with your lowest string bean g. I actually can find that it can still withstand a lower tuning. I actually like having a low d string. Basically tuning my g-string a fourth lower. I actually like the way it sounds tuned a perfect fourth lower than g.

      I actually like having my lap harp tuned a fourth lower than what most lap harps are tuned. I actually tuned it to the key of d, which is actually a perfect fourth lower than g. I find that tuning sounds a lot more mellower than the key of g. Because of the lower notes, I find that it has more sustain. Then playing in the key of g. With most lap harps being tuned with a low g-string, I actually have my g-string turned into a low d string. Which I actually find soothing for my type of plane. Plus I do find that the key of d sounds really good for this particular lap harp that I have. I have come to my own observation that the key of g is a suggested tuning for most lap harps.

      They actually do pretty much come from the same family. The lyre is pretty much a type of zither. Or it is also possibly a branch off of the zither family. There are quite a few zither type instruments that use a block and Strum method such as the finnish kantele that comes from finland. @@easylapharpmelodies

    Nice chorus effect. The double string, you'll never have 100% tuning to match so gives a warmer sound. Like ghosting (double tracking) your vocal track. There's something very rich about hearing your voice doubled where the two parts are slightly different in pitch and timing.

      The cool thing about this, you don't have to worry about jellyfish stinging you, they are just little silicone jellyfish that swim around inside the cylindrical tube. But they do look like live jellyfish because the water from the little aerator is being moved around by the motor in the bottom of the tank. That is why they look like live jellyfish. No need to worry about stinging tentacles, or any of that.

Also, you’re missing a lot of expression opportunities on cock of the north by playing it so fast … it sounds better slow down a bit with nice snappy rhythm and long hold after those embellishments

    • @Bagpipecoasters9233
      @Bagpipecoasters9233 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Piper's choice. They are not as expensive as a set of Gibson fireside or Kaylee pipes. Especially the ones that are cocobolo or African blackwood. I do find that the Polly panko pipes are a lot more durable. They are really awesome to play, and they are very cheap but very reliable. What I mean by cheap, if they're not as expensive as a set of cocobolo or African blackwood fireside or Kaylee pipes. Which run you about $1,000. These pipes ran me only $490, and they sound kind of similar to a set of twist trap practice pipes. But they are still one of the best Scottish smallpipes that you can have in your bagpipe arson. They are one of the coolest instruments to even play in a session band, or just a practice your bagpipe tunes on. They are equivalent to a practice chanter in terms of loudness, but if it was possible I could add a border pipe chanter, and get more of a great highland bagpipes sound. I really like the sound of these pipes, even with my middle tenor drone shut off. Just so you know, I have the dawning of the day figured out on the pipes. You should probably go check out that video too.

    • @Bagpipecoasters9233
      @Bagpipecoasters9233 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No moisture problems. At the base of the blowpipe is a tube that is attached to the blowpipe. Once in the stock. The tube also goes into the bag when the blow pipe is attached to the bag. When air is blown through the blowpipe, it travels through the tube into the bag. The tube actually takes the air that goes into the blowpipe, and it converts the air into hot air. That is what the tube does. It is probably one of the coolest moisture control systems for mouth blown Scottish smallpipes. Say, you basically have a blow pipe with a tube attached to it. When you blow through the blow pipe, the air travels through the tube and comes out as hot air. Making the bag dry, and it doesn't collect moisture whatsoever.
