Yes, we're aware Brandon directed Possessor and Antiviral...that's why it's titled Cronenberg and not David Cronenberg :-) This is in the video description: Body Horror has become an increasingly popular Horror subgenre over the last five decades. Part of this increase can be attributed to the Godfather of Body Horror - David Cronenberg and his son, Brandon Cronenberg. David Cronenberg dominated the 1970's and 1980's with famous Body Horror films including Scanners (1981) and The Fly (1986). His son, Brandon Cronenberg, has taken the Body Horror baton from his father and has continued the Cronenberg Body Horror trend with Antiviral (2012) and Possessor (2020).

Hi and thanks for the comment! For the different warfare eras, we segmented them out per Wikipedia. The Early Modern Warfare Era is from 1500 - 1854 AD (with the Siege of Sevastopol in 1854 starting the Industrial Warfare Era). ESP and Clairvoyance are a bit different as telepaths can control someone's mind whereas ESP and Clairvoyance is more of a sixth sense (without the control factor). Thanks for the comment and agree! It's such a great film and one of the reasons we wanted to highlight it for fellow Time Travel film fans. Some of the other films in the video are just ok and only for completists, but if you get a chance definitely also check out Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned...it was one of the best films we've seen recently and would have made our Best Of list of Time Travel if we had seen it sooner...

It's a great film...and Xchange is good but would have been a great sci-fi Body Swap film with a higher budget (and some different casting decisions).

Thanks for the comment and Face/Off is an amazing film (and personal favorite). It was a tough call not including Face/Off on this list or in our general Body Swap collection b/c it's technically not a Body Swap film. There are also 3 films in the video that could be argued aren't true Body Swap films either but they use more Body Swap themes vs. Face/Off so why we included them. You should also check out Spiritwalker and Devils if you liked Face/Off...

Thanks for watching and the comment! Completely agree that some of the films on the list are bad. But the rankings were by massive battle scenes of the warfare era so that's why certain films are included. Sovereign's Servant also is a mess of a film but has a really good battle scene in its third act. The criteria used for the list and subsequent ranking is also how a film like The Patriot made an appearance :-)

The aesthetic of the movie was great or are you British ,😏

Thanks for watching the video and for your comment! The Early Modern Warfare Period is generally from 1500 - 1854. The Charge of the Light Brigade is set during the Crimean War (1853 - 1855) and is often noted as the beginning of the Industrial Warfare age (which we'll be covering in our next article and video). This film will definitely be on our next list and likely the first film in the video (like how The Profession of Arms in this video was noted as the transition from Medieval Warfare to Early Modern Warfare as heavy artillery was introduced in the battlefield). Khartoum is set in the late 1800's and most of the other films you mentioned are listed in our article here - kneelbeforezod.io/best-early-modern-warfare-films/. We actually love Barry Lyndon and think Revolution is a vastly underrated film, but we had to judge films by the massive battle scenes they had and they fell just short of the Top 20.

Yea I also wrote this in comment And the Russian one is best however all the adaptation is another level But Russia putting 100k people makes it excellent war depiction
