After reading this comment mid-video viewing, it might actually be possible to do this battle in 5 actions. This requires Prayer (as per usual), Powwer Stab, Knight, Ante Up and Power Rush on 5 HP. This allows for 8 damage per Power Slash, and after doing it 4 times total, Hatred is on 18 health, which is Prayer range.

But taking this a bit more seriously, I feel like there's too much RNG involved for them to not be an exception to the rule. They spawn in at the start of battle, you can't call them off, and they're guranteed to move before the enemy and therefore are going to impact the battle regardless of your choice. Hell, I'd argue it's outright impossible to kill them off on time in the Purple & Green fight since Purple Noob can't Dizzy.
