Belgrade is ok for visit but not for life. If you are thinking of finding a job in Belgrade forget about it. There are no jobs available! Secondly, if you make money online why would you live in a country with such high prices? You have plenty of places where your money would have a much higher value. Serbia’s groceries are more expensive than in Germany, Italy and Spain for instance. In addition, have you heard of air and water pollution? Highest in the world. Cancer rates? Highest in the world. Serbia is ok to visit for fun only.

The entire Eastern and Southern-Europe is flooded with beggars - mostly Gipsy kids. Unsavory Gipsy adult men are specialized in pickpocketing - so be careful in any mass transit. You should not be exchanging money on airport ever. They rip you off. Exchange rates are horrible, and you lose a lot of money in process; just go to regular bank or ATM machine nearby...
