Keep running straight instead of turning right into the chain slide, you can slide under the wall and do a late jump to land on the other side of the wall

​@@its-just-genosyde I got this jump down now thanks man. I just made it to the section where you have to do two chainslides, turn left, then dropslide into a surf. Then i got disconnected from the fkn lobby lol

@@vaquri Ah you're a little over halfway I think! I won't lie, after the jump you left off on, this map gets... ridiculously difficult. You're a great player, so you can definitely do it, but it's a time/patience thing. Don't let this map trick you into thinking some of the jumps are impossible for you. I've seen loads of people give up because of this, even when they would've gotten it with a few more tries.

There is something special about this map. The jumps seem so unfair at first, and some of them actually are, until you finally figure them out. After that, the map actually becomes very enjoyable to play (but not enjoyable to speedrun). Plus the design/aesthetic is insanely good.

What people don't talk about is the amount of jankyness that comes with forge, dealing with bugs takes up 10-30% of our build time especially when it comes to lighting and crashing. This project though was surprisingly smooth 80% of the time as Qolll and myself live quite near eachother, so i think cooperative builds should definitely take people's regions into account

Took me about 5 hours to beat this map my first time. After you beat it once, every time after that gets quicker and quicker and the jumps become less intimidating.

​@Miyagi321 fr not an easy skip. There's also a little time-saver if you mess up here 10:01 that I never showed you. You can ping jump up to the lip, then jump up the ramp and do a simple clip it curb. Don't need to do the pockets

@@pootzmagootz I always forget about the ping jumps, man. That's really convenient tho, quick setup after failing it, unlike the pockets

if you time it correctly, looking left/right during a dropslide, curbslide, or chainslide will give you a speed boost, and thus more distance after I jump. I practiced doing it on that particular one because it's a very precise/unforgiving chainslide. Basically gives me more room for error for the remainder of the jump

I'm also a fan of no-clamber maps, I definitely prefer them as there's less room for error. LG Jump Progression is still my favorite map after all this time, mostly because it's no-clamber lol.

Haha I remember! Loved helping you guys, that's exactly why I stick around. I started jumpin around on this game probably about a year and a half ago, so a decent amount of time. I was VERY bad when I first started out. I had someone helping me my first time on this map and I don't think I made it as far as you guys did lol. It's just like anything else, takes a bit of time to get used to. It's all just muscle memory, and you'd be shocked how quickly you learn this stuff. Once you understand it, it becomes intuitive. Hope to see y'all around again!

Armor or weapon coating? I got the armor coating from a twitch drop a long time ago, season 2 or 3 I think. The weapon coating is Aureate Noon, which I bought in the shop. It's pretty cheap, like 600 credits or something and gives you the skin for almost every UNSC weapon.

Yep, that's exactly it. It's essentially just sprint>>slide>>jump repeatedly. Since you can activate sprint before you actually land on the next platform, the timing is a little bit forgiving. This is not the case for the crouch/slide timing tho, it'll have to be as soon as you land on each platform if you want to maintain that speed. Also, using hold to crouch gives you much more control than toggle crouch (also true for just about everything related to movement/parkour in this game).

@@Miyagi321 @4:10 how do you do that part so smooth? your timing is just really good? i can barely keep enough momentum to get onto the third platform

@@gandolfbengstan4 It's the same thing as before (chainslides) except there's less time between the slides and there is a head bonk in between the 2nd & 3rd chainslide. A head bonk chainslide just means that you get your initial slide, jump and hit your head on the upper platform, then quickly slide again. It's basically the same exact sprint>>slide>>jump sequence I mentioned before, but the timing has to be much quicker and more precise. You are correct, it is a timing thing. Just takes practice
