Do you sell the machine?
Hello, is the low grip, bumpy track suitable for this piston? Should the shock absorber oil be used according to the normal label or need special requirements, such as thicker or thinner? I have ordered this type, but I don't know how to use it correctly, thank you.
Anybody tried the kyosho hubs on the new 8x 2.0?
How do you like those rear hub plates for the 2.0 and where did you get them?
I tried this on my losi eight xe elite using the Kyosho mp9 evo v2 hubs. The hubs are plastic but look identical to the Kyosho aluminum hubs in this video. Taking it to the track tomorrow. I’ll see how it goes. Hopefully the mp9 hubs are the same if not I’ll buy the mp10 hubs and try it.
Spinka Light
These are working decently for me so far in my 1/10 crawler. Waterproof too.
Just got my parts for the Sparko. Car is awesome.
Are you selling the incline spindles?
Insane that manufacturers can get away with such blatant lies on their servo spec sheets, have you tested any other Power HD servos? T50, or their new GTS line?
I think the buggy looks good 👍 I am interested in learning more about the scrub radius’s and their effects, that’s what you are discussing in the beginning of the video, correct? do you know where I could find more information on that stuff? I have the 8ight X/E 2.0 right now
Great video of explaining the issues. Ive had the x elite and recently a fully optioned x2.0. I came to a point that i just got fed up with it and sold it to get the mp10tki3. All of my problems went away
I didn’t know you could test the speed of your servos with the iCharger. 😮
Learn something new everyday, and it's quite accurate as we have compared the results with our laser speed testing machine in the factory. This is much easier to test with, and portable as we bring it to the track as well.
So whats the solution for the 2.0? Just wider hexes in rear? Ta
Only time i get this is in oldder servos...
La sworkz
But you didn't include a mixer for 'oil. Ideal a stepper motor to move the 'shaft and all the motor components.
What weight shock oil do you run?
Normally 500/450 is my starting point however since our track has been oil treated and is very high grip I am running 750/700 now. It's also quite smooth. 500/450 or 550/500 is a good start in most cases.
sorry im a newbie, can you explain me what is the offset?
Hmm how can I explain it. Offset is the distance from the center of the contact patch aka center of the wheel from the hinge pin. It can either be positive or negative.
@@amrservos ok thank you but i have a question: if the CVDs and rear arms lenght still the same with or without the mod, how can the distance front center of the wheel to the hinge pin can influence de handling of the car? Maybe Is a suspension geometry factor that improve the traction during a turn? I mean the wheel still in the same position and we have same distance wheel to wheel
@@stefanoparoli leverage on the contact patch basically. With Kyosho hub mod only universals are compatible.
@@amrservos thank you!
Will running wide hexes in the rear and regular hexes in the front correct some of this oversteer? How would this compare to just going with the Kyosho hubs?
On the 1.0 or 2.0?
@@amrservos 1.0.
No, the offset is to far off that the Kyosho hubs is really the only way to go. You do the Kyosho hub mod, with the LIT blocks it is night and day difference.
@@amrservos Thank you.
Great video. I also love the uncut raw footage, burps and all.
Man I love this car! After seeing in person at DNC I was impressed just wish I’d seen it on the track! How would you compare to the Losi Elite? I ask cause it’s my all time favorite car and drives and handles to my standards!
I own the TLR Elite 1.0 and have the 2.0 as well. The Sparko is easier to work on, and is just a better car out of the box. It's easier to drive, and with our 4 degree incline spindles, and bump steer correction kit it is pretty dialed. The radio box, and the large center diff is also a plus, and worlds better than the TLR. It still hurts as i have a ton of spares, and investment in the TLR platform, but it's hard to go back when I am simply faster with the Sparko, and again it's easier to work on. As you probably know the diff access alone on both the 1.0 and 2.0 is downright terrible.
@@amrservos What I was surprised by was only one person was running that sparko car and that was cavalleri! I thought for being such a great car I would’ve expected more presents but still baffled. As far as the TL are getting to the dips is literally five screws so not sure what you’re talking about on the front and the rear. And I’m talking about the elite
@@jdportwerks6795 It's not the amount of screws. To remove the rear diff means removing the wing, and also that whole assembly is tied to the rear brace. And it is a split case horizontally. Access between the 2, especially the rear is night and day. As for the amount of people, the car is a year old. They don't have the budget to hire big guns like a company like TLR who have been in the game for over 35 years.
@@jdportwerks6795 th-cam.com/video/7UlFm1l2DE0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PtMLMamqdZeJCJsS
So what hubs are you using on the 2.0 and does that bring it to 2mm or 0 off set
I don't run the 2.0 anymore, but I ran the APEXX engineering 1.0 rear hubs on it, without having to drill the arms since the pivot is narrower than the 1.0.
The 2.0 sux has so many issues
It's not perfect, but TLR nut huggers won't admit it lol. I have been running TLR since I was teen, I love the brand, but not enough to turn a blinds eye. I am realist.
Why this and not SAVOX SB-2292SG which is half the price and with better specs? I don't know which one to choose... Everybody chooses this but logic says savox...
How are your uj’s holding up? Looks like they didn’t leave much material on the joints when they machined them? They look a bit thin?
Forgive me, but what is the meaning of UJ?
Our servos? I looked for a store link and could not find it.
Are these made in Taiwan or China?
This is all awesome to hear. Decided to switch my 1/8 buggy platform recently, really not expecting to come to the conclusion that I’d try a brand with no history, but this car really caught my attention. I’m in the same place you were with your TLR, except I’m heavily invested in Tekno. The amount of spares I’m gonna have to unload is frustrating, haha I’ve done well with my Teknos, but never have been able to find a setup that truly feels great to drive, no matter what I’ve tried. Hoping to have better luck with the Sparko 🙂 Gonna start building it this weekend! Are you still enjoying yours?
Great videos. Could you please help out with the A,B,C and D block pill inserts kit setup dot location? The reason i ask is because the build pics show a diffetent pill dot location as opposed to the kit setup sheet in the back of the manual. I run on a large med/low grip bumpy track. I want to start with the kit setup and go from there. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Sorry I missed this, the A and B block normally center on both, but when running our incline spindles I run center on both, but outside center. The C and D block I run with the most narrowest pivot which requires some grinding of the arms and gearbox which is center on the D block ,and inside center on the C.
test agf servos.
What servo did you say that was recommended for nitro? I have 2 Traxxas Jatos 3.3 that I’ve been wanting to replace the servos on. Im also looking for servos for the Traxxas Sledge and the Traxxas Hoss do you recommend any for these other 2 RCs?
I’m looking to buy the 60 to 70kg version, is there better quality servos for that torque at 1/10 scale size, that you recommend doesn’t have to be budget price, just something that will last me, I’m having lots of trouble thanks?
Try AGF servos!
how come 8 screws is considered quick? when Arrma is doing 4 screws for the last 8 years?
thats the first time i hear someone pronounce mm as 'em em'
Yeah, that shit threw me for a loop. No one says the abbreviations for length units.
Is the kg rating the amount of weight it can lift? Im sorry but can someone please explain what the kg rating is? 😅
The rating is about torque, twisting force. In the case of servos it's usually measured in kg (force) per cm or ounces per inch. So a 1 cm long servo arm should be able to lift up to 35 kg in this case. The longer the arm (the lever) the less it can overcome. Torque = force x distance, so a 2 cm arm would half the torque of the servo down to 17.5kg etc etc.
Man this seems so odd to me to see that kind up and down drop in torque . most that i have seen when testing myself the torque is slowly drooping down i think with heat. i feel like there is a power delivery problem.
I used a fully charged 7.4V receiver pack that is used primarily for video testing to replicate the power source that is used when these are used in a nitro application. I have a fixed direct power source, and a receiver pack for testing. I have tested these on both power sources, and the torque relatively drops quite fast, and these can not handle the heat in Nitro and quickly fail. I have tested these myself more than once in my own 1/8th buggy, and every single one has failed in a short period of time. Regardless if you feel it is odd they are not very good when used in a racing application, especially in 1/8. These are best for recreational use or some 1/10 club racing.
Bro don’t worry about $1500 of parts when I have seen 3 of your videos where your praising the sparko. I’m sure your not going to just run the losi cause of a huge parts catalog… grab this new platform and run with it. I’m sure you already have… To be honest I have never heard positive things about the xe 2.0 👍
They doing everything right…
hello ! I want to use servos like this for a robotic project where it requires the servo to move quickly from 0 to 60 degrees. Do you recommend these?
No, spend a little bit more money on a better servo for robotics use. Thank me later.
How can you watch this video and STILL ask this question??
Question,,,who makes all TLR plastics
What is the purpose of this thing?
I'd love to try one of these. Good to see an underestimate for torque. More brands should do this and proving the torque is even better.
Do you have a link for these?
Vision Racing Products is a dealer of ours visionracingproducts.com/product-category/amr-servos/
Can’t you just put the link on top of the steering rack? Not sure if you would have to flip the rack upside down or not.
How this measurement equipment works? I assume it measures the current draw and graphs that. For me all the bad results seems like "noise" is picked up, cos the blue line obviously not aligned with the end of the current draw. It would be nice to see the servo arm in slow motion for all the tests. I think it might be overshooting a bit and the second, smaller values on the graph are the compensation for the overshoot. Yes, cheap servos can be hit and miss. For an rc basher i think this is perfectly sufficient. Not for a professional race car of course.
Have you ever tested a cheap servo like the R12?
So is the Sparko F8 any good stock or not? Or do I need to manufacture all these fix up parts...I was thinking about buying one but not sure with all these fix up videos...
Car is amazing in stock form, right out of the box.
Wanted to pop back in and say a huge THANK YOU!! I cannot explain how much better the car is with the MP10 hubs. If your on the fence about doing this mod just DO IT you won't believe the difference.
Where have you get the hub and all the other Stuff 🤗

I know it's been awhile since you posted, but just wanted to reply with a Thank you for the feedback. It's night and day, offset is soo important especially in the rear. It dictates soo much on how the car will handle.
Hey thank you for the great true video ! I have the xe elite Leo buggy and have the same problems ... have you some parts number for the Kyosho solution ? because I do lot of set work but nothing happens and help !
