I love the smell of kouros, people hate it, but i think it's an amazing smell. always makes me happy when i have it on.

I get pretty good results with a synthetic brush. I take about a quarter teaspoon of soap and press it into the bowl. Then take a slightly damp brush and build the lather by gradually adding a teaspoon of water at a time. I spend a solid 3 minutes building the lather in a bowl. This gets me the best quality lather without scrubbing my face to death. I then just paint the lather on my face. I might add a couple drips of water to the top of the brush to fine tune the hydration on my face. Give it a try!

You are spot on my friend, whenever I or even my mother smell that "old house" smell we both automatically get reminded of my grandma and grandad, of times when life seemed easier. Great video keep them coming.

I have recently been going though my PAA collection because of your recent dive into PAA again. Dapper doc is my favorite by a landslide. Soap lathers a tad different than my go to Stirling, and you need waaay less of it. It explodes like crazy. I am still a Stirling man for life, but I would consider PAA just a tad better.

That’s why finding that perfect razor/ blade and soap combination is so gratifying!! Face prep is key too but mood had a lot to do with it as well… brushes… I have a bunch… Trotter.. it’s expensive but they are awesome. The owner is super cool and makes them all custom.

I feel the same way about the Trafalgar knot. So, I yanked it out and put in a high mountain white badger knot.

PAA is one of my favorite soap bases so I’m glad to see you posting some content featuring it. If you like Cologne scents they have a lot of options too

I would suggest you try Zingari Man - The Royal Shave soap it’s a high-quality soap and my opinion smells amazing

Love the vid, and I hear so much good stuff about Armaf Aura Fresh. I got the Og Versace man eau Fraiche. The longevity is Trash and makes me wish I would’ve just gotten Aura Fresh. Also my memory may he wrong but I remember you having F by ferragamo. That’s also a pretty good powdery fragrance in my opinion besides the performance.

I also personally consider PAA to be the best soap, performance wise, out there. Holds a TON of water, excellent residual slickness and protection. Dapper doc is my favorite scent from them handsdown. Although i am a stirling man through and through, I do enjoy my paa when i feel like using something more luxurious

I smelled burrberry touch recently, very heavy on the violet. Liked it, but didn't buy it. I also, absolutely LOVE royal Copenhagen. Super powdery/clean/gentle masculine. But I am biased, it's what my dad wore

Another good post Brother. As far as the Hot Weather shave. I go to cooling type of Soaps and after shaves. For example Proarso Green is a good choice. Just my 2 cents.

I've only started using a DE razor for about two months, and I'm certainly not an expert yet. Plenty of blood but I'm sticking with it. I'm enjoying the ten to twenty minutes of me time. Shaving is starting to go from a necessary evil to an enjoyable daily pamper. Just stumbled across your channel, consider me subscribed.

I enjoy face lathering as well but PAA sells a great travel scuttle that creates a perfect lather as well as a warm one if you like warm lathers every now and again plus the ridges inside help to lather quickly all my best Steve

Yuzu is a nice citrus note. Have a received a few compliments while wearing. Better projection than my favorite summer citrus Dior homme cologne.
