I feel like if they kept it in, it would of have changed a lot for the MCU as a whole. It would of have given the feel of Guardians of the Galaxy a few years sooner if the story line that Peter had in those movie. I feel like it would give a greater storyline atmosphere to the MCU that later years try to do and doesn't really get as good as this could of have had if it was kept.

you're right. it does plant the seed. and i believe this was intentional. as a matter of fact. i believe a rough outline of the entire infinity saga was laid out around the time of the avengers. and i will go one step further. i believe joss whedon had ALOT to do with this plan. sadly shortly after age of ultron the world found out what a scumbag he was and marvel had to go another way. and once his blueprint was done. they fell apart

Bruce has DID. What we see in the avengers films is him moving towards a closer intergation of his inner selves, hes not sharing a body with a monster that monster is still him jist the parts of him thst lash out in self defence. It's why hull can speak now and why Bruce gets better at bringing hulk out but hulk can still sometimes get away from him internally and act on their own without tje wisdom and control Bruce brings. Hes actually one of the most complex characters that marvel brought to the avengers and honestly quite understandable they had to trim down how much they could go into that. As someone who lives woth the same mental adaptation as Bruce I appreciate how they have shown the happier side, intergation of a DID system is possible and there have been a few times in the comics when Bruce has managed it, usually then going through more traumatic experiences that undo the progress though.

Edward Norton was the BEST movie Hulk. Can't stomach that they got rid of him!

Edward Norton was able to portray the tragic part of Bruce Banner better than mark ruffelo in my opinion, plus he had Liv Tyler to act with which just came off better than Mark and Scarlett Johansson. They just didn’t have any good chemistry (plus the plot line between Bruce and Natasha was simply terrible, especially when Bruce and Betty were played so well together and left unresolved for inferior storylines)

This movie is canon to the MCU and they talk about in in the movies. They just changed the actor. The avenger movies show his final progression. When they first found him he was in a remote village. That's where he went at the end of that film. They only changed the actor.
