My painting is so smooth, so real. It's like the painting is alive. Sometimes I'm surprised the Tiger is still there, not going on a hunt or something.

I am a white man who grew up on the rez, these dances are church. I feel so much spirit when I hear these dances and see these songs. My ancestors tried to end this beautiful artistic spirit of these people, because it weren't Christian!!! Shame! I don't go to white people church, I feel nothing at those false Christian gatherings, But to watch a dancer is what makes my heart feel good. After everything that white man has done to Indigenous they are still dancing, despite people who looked like me killing them for their dancing they are still dancing!
