I should definitely try doing Cross-Country's new route from Cardiff central to Edinburgh service at some point, as now you could travel on an 220/221 into Wales, which I don't think happens that often if ever before the new service. Tho I could be wrong about that.

Greater Anglia could use the Class 720s to Norwich formed as 2x 5-Car Class 720s (10-Car) instead of using Class 755 Bi-Mode or Class 745/1 Stansted Express units.

Ah... Getting stuck in Sheffield station is always 'fun, espically trying to get to Manchester. I remember one time where all the trains going up the Hope Valley line were cancelled and it was causing utter chaos! Ended up going to Huddersfield via the Penistone line and catching a train back to Manchester from Huddersfield. Long but quite sceanic route back, shame a tunnel was shut in the 70's though.

Didn't u know u could got EMR to Liverpool ftom Sheffield its faster Than TPE suprising cos TPE stop at birchwood irlam and Urmston and emr stops at Widnes but both stop at Warrington Central and Liverpool south pkwy tho

Make the most of this fleet as soon the 555s will be slowly coming into service. Also you were where and what was I doing?

Isn’t there usually a stipulation that it’s only valid for services via a particular station? E.g. Birmingham to London all terminals (valid on services via High Wycombe?)

Even though they have the same Cummins engines as the 150s and 156s , the 153s sound like have a little more grunt for some reason

6:11 They don't use the 222s for Skeg as they won't fit at many of the stations, and they are also not cleared for some of the bends on the route pretty sure.

Ive never seen a HST. Im nearly 15, and only got into trainspotting 2 years ago and live in the south east so I never really got a chance to ever see one

Never been to Skegness in my life. Im 56 so butlins was the thing back then. So filey was our chosen destination for holidays being from Newcastle 😂. Loving the video though

Pretty sure 222s aren't cleared to skeg. They did use 180s at one point

Why do most of our rail companies keep buying crappy alstom or Hitachi trains with no level access, whereas swiss company stadler are level boarding well done greater Anglia.(pity you never got them for your London commuter routes)
