I had a friend who was in the South African Army and he was deployed with an American and I think South Korean and 2 other countries I cant remember.. Point is, he said whenever a firefight broke out, everyone would try and distance themselves from the American soldiers because they are and I'm quoting him here, "trained to die, not to kill" I always thought that was funny. I think this was specifically about Marines. I cant remember much of the finer details as this conversation was like 10 years ago
