Happy New Year and thanks for the video. I was one of the away fans attending my first ever football match (!) with my 8 yo son who plays for the Waders U9 team. A thrilling game. Obviously we were pleased to see the win but well done to both teams for entertaining us - if there were any sore heads on the pitch from NYE it didn't show. Thanks to everyone at the Eyrie who looked after us. I hope the Bedford player who was injured near the end of the game is ok. Good wishes to the Eagles for the rest of the season.

Don't know why the ref started the game. Clearly wasn't playable at the bottom end, even by 3.40 when we actually got going - perhaps he didn't want to send the crowd home without seeing any play. Not as bad as a game that I saw at Luton against Darlington in about 1967 though - we got 7 minutes into the game before it was abandoned, with water pouring off the pitch onto the terraces, after a shot by Slough or perhaps Rioch stuck in the water just as it was going in. Big thanks to the efforts of the Bedford groundstaff though who did all they could to give us some football.

They probably should've equalized at the end,but missed a good chance,but we probably should've settled the game in the 1st half

Dunno what watch the ref was looking at. Added about 1-30 first half when Walsh had been down for at least 3. Board went up at 44.45 for 7 minutes (how ?), ref told the linesman he'd play 8, and ended up at about 9.15. LB asked the ref if he was going to play until Biggleswade scored......Good game though. Bedford seem to try and sit on what they've got- it'll catch them out at some point.
