This is a perfect example of why I wouldn't want to ride on the island during TT week. Too many idiots in one place. Looking at the video in slow motion, it seemed he was still in the other lane in heading into on-coming traffic. In the beginning of the video, some motorcyclist were switching lanes already. Very risky at that speed. No room to maneuv er a car or another motorcycle comes by.

Thats the reason I stick to dirt single track in the woods. I might hit 35 mph max on a strait away then back to 10 mph. The only thing you need to watch out for is bears and falling on a sticks will never ride street. Ever year when I lived in Truckee California "street Vibrations" would be going on in reno nevada and there would always be a death accident.

Why did the other bikers not stop?

No offense to the deceased or the deceased family but this rider was not riding smart at all. These are the kind of riders I see past me all the time and it just makes me cringe because I know one day I’ll see this. The guy was not riding smart most likely a young kid who thought he was invincible. Passing in the wrong lane around the corner

If you can perish in a car crash from speeds as little as 30mph, what makes people think that something like this type of tragic accident is survivable especially when explosive fuel is involved?
