session two is horrible!!! an absolute waste. what a shame. cant belive the show underwent such bad writing for the second session. such a waste of an amazing first session.
@@ryanbeck639 Although season 2 was slower, I really liked it. It humanized the main character by showing him being tormented by his sins. Instead of the redemption arc being a big battle or power up, we seen Thorfinn at his lowest moments. To me, this was necessary to setup for a great season 3.

Yes. I feel like Askeladd was trying to save Thorfinn. When Askeladd died , he knew it would release the spell of revenge that Thorfinn was consumed by. He wanted Thorfinn to not end up like him.
