Just a cheap in-line electric fuel pump that brings the fuel to the mechanical fuel pump before starting to crank. I ran min to a momentary rocker switch under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. pump amzn.to/46VvBJr

I'd check the numbers on the block, as it looks like an early 273 intake with an aftermarket GM HEI conversion distributor.
We had a Custom Sportsman van in 1969 and it was nice except that the engine was always overheating and the solid front axle was terrible , If I had one today I would adapt a crown vic front end a better way of keeping the engine cool like some cooling under the van or something. The brakes faded fast as well.
Any droning from this exhaust?
Hilarious! I get that this is s skit, but I’d be more interested in checking out the van too.
Plus, the Dodge just looks cool.
That Cyber Trash isn’t a truck at all, it’s a 3-D geometry lesson. Classic van all the way.
"Don't drive like my brother!"
I got that.
It's kind of rare seeing a Dodge van now and then I'd rather take the Dodge in be straight rather than being gay with having a refrigerator in my garage all day
Give me the dodge any day any time
Not my interest, but that looks like a really nice restoration. I _think_ Sportsman was an option package.
I had a 69 GMC van. Had to fabricate my own shift linkage.
This cracked me up so hard! I’d take the Dodge A108 over the Tesla Cybertruck anytime.
it is true that dodge wasn't the top in the trifecta that was the big 3 between plymoth, ford, and chevy. But I would still take the dodge in a heartbeat over the tesla cybertruck for the fact that its construct is very simple, straightforward and fun as all hell.
I could see owning the van. I'd modify it, but that's because I'm not a fan of leaf springs on the front of a van like that. But, once I got the suspension right, it's got plenty of room to maybe roll out a couple sleeping bags and get some rest if I'm on a road trip. Stuff a 360 in it so it could get out of it's own way, and give it intelligent upgrades, and it could have the old school looks, with modern lighting and driving range. Oh and of course, ride quality.
I have always find the Cyber truck a very very ugly thing
Yeah I'd much rather have the Dodge Van, it's going to be cool though when rodders can retrofit these older vehicles with hybrid electric/gas set ups, there's so much can be done, but I wouldn't want anything from Tesla
Remember when these were popular, mini van of the 60s, slant six powered, imo best engine Chrysler ever made.
I'd rather spend my last dollar on good old Dodge....wouldn't take that Cyber if it was free.
The cool factor of the Dodge is off the charts; that fridge on wheels doesn’t even make the charts.
love that color, nice van
I am glad to see this van was offered with a 318 V8 with decent power. Many vans of this era were woefully underpowered.
Stainless looked good on the DMC 12 not wo much on a slice of cheddar.
That Tesla “truck” is one UGLY vehicle!
It's even worse in person. Just hideous.
I have 66 a 100 military version 😮😮❤❤❤
What an idiot. That A108 can't tow anything. "Overcharge"?
Why do people love vw busses and not this thing. I hate dodge products but damn that thing is bad ass
Even see well out of "the front triangles." You young ignorant fool! LOL!
hey, that is Dusty the owner of Rust-Eze
Will there be one single CT left in everyday use after 50 years? Bet not.
Realistically, probably, most likely. One or two idiots out there will swap out the batteries for whatever will be available then and they will reverse engineer the abysmal Tesla software. And when I see it on the road, I'll give it a thumbs down just like I do now.
Definitely far nicer than that horrible Muskmobile.
Love the Van, hate the Truck, also hate the Soy Boy voiceover.........
Clickbate. No need for a trigger warning, it’s just some mouth breather repeating WOW.
That thing is beautiful!
Bud light vs bud weiser, love that sea foam color
The cyber truck looks like a cheap chinese toy. The lines look terrible in person and the body gaps are wider than most vehicles.
People look like such a ss holes driving those stainless refrigerators
Way cooler than the cyber truck and safer with much better visibility
A friggin go-kart is safer than the Cybertruck lol come on, show some respect to the Dodge by not mentioning it and that dumpster in the same sentence. Sorry, I just hate CT's existence. And I'm an EV enthusiast.
Yes that Dodge van is awesome, beautiful color. The Deloreans were never my cup of tea...LOL
Wow, this looks like my old van I swear
I would own the Dodge every day of the week, that thing looks like it'd be awesome on cross-country road trips
This one was purchased near Orlando, then driven to Key West, then driven to Rhode Island for its first few days of ownership. I'm sure something will break eventually but I tried to stay ahead of things with maintenance. I also swapped the 393 rear for a 323 for a bit more highway cruising.
They’re both cool.
If it’s got AC, then it’ll be awesome for roadtrips
HAHAHA. Awsome!!
WAAAAAAY cooler rhan the Cybertruck. And more reliable
Being more reliable than the Cybertruck isn't a very high bar though. Beautiful van! Would love to see an EV conversion of one.
@@AntoN-hq9tuFuck no.
I mean it is WAY cooler than the cyber truck
Plus I bet it doesn’t fall a part like cybertruck
Sorry but that Cybertruck is the ugliest f!cking vehicle in the history of automobiles. Only for people trying to cover up for a lack of ........
I appreciate your videos! Great resource for learning some A108 maintenance. Looking to restore one of my own soon here
Hi do you have experience with 1966 A 100 custom . I have turn signal not working .
Yep. Both not work or just one?
Both working , could fuse or turn signal assembly?
Sorry both not working, could it be fuse or turn signal assembly?
@@michellepuzzo9053 Fuse or even the flasher relay which can be accessed behind you steering column (google what it looks like, pull it, reinstall as the terminals could be dirty
@@theBeachBusRI i found relay and replace. They work now.
That BBD is the low top air bled design (pre 1974). MIKES CARBURETOR has a TH-cam video for adjusting the older BBDs that matches the original Carter Adjustment instructions….
i was thinkin of rebuilding my old one...but now i mite try one of these new carbs....any problems yet?
None...I turned in the mixture knobs slightly this fall as I thought it was getting a little fumey with the change of seasons but also could have just been having all the windows closed. MPG and responsiveness has been steady for a year.
I guarantee that HEI helps alot. The old Dodge ignition is trash.
Good score!
