I found this historic jail on my way home from Houston and it needed a good mowing! After doing a lot of research and making some phone calls I finally found the owner! I told him who I was and what I wanted to do and he was very happy to let me take care of this overgrown yard. Id rather mow in the middle of the night when it's cooler. That's also when I tend to be awake, but the neighbors already said no. 🤣
Mow till the Cops get there! 😂 I agree with you about it being cooler but the Rattlesnakes are definitely harder to spot!

You are a better man than me! I move bull snakes and non-venomous snakes, but when I see a rattle snake I go back to saying, "Now we can't have that here!"
Lol I can definitely understand that but I think the Tennessee comes out of me sometimes and I do things that I probably ought not do!
We definitely run into different creatures in the night. We’re likely to see a skunk, raccoon, fox or a coyote, but no poisonous snakes. My province of Ontario does have the Massassauga rattle snake, but it’s two hours northwest of where I live. I’m glad you let it go, but take care of yourself. Did you get yourself a new blower? 🙂🇨🇦🙂
I’m glad that you don’t have to deal with those snakes. Common sense and everyone else told me to kill it but the reality I reckon is that I was invading his territory. As far as getting a new leaf blower I haven’t yet. I figured that I would wait till winter and maybe find a good deal on one.

I appreciate the comment but unfortunately I was 1100 miles away from home on vacation. I had to borrow the mower to do the yard. All the vines were poison ivy so I decided for the sake of my health I would leave that stuff alone.
