thank you my friend! :D eventually i will re-play the game on the channel but with a twist, same with Vandal Hearts 2 :) cause there is a certain challenge in VH1 that nobody seems to be able to complete so i wanna give it a try myself (to see how far i can get :D) and the Vandal Hearts 2 run will be a surprise but its a really cool idea that i havent seen on youtube yet :D

interesting, never tried it that way :D but the money is the same :) 2 healing herbs cost 200G each, a magic oil costs 400G, so both are 400G in total :) and since killing all enemies isnt an issue on this map, you can do my method without any worries of someone dying in the process :D but i like that there are multiple methods, thank you :D

yeeeah, modern games dont hit quite the same as these retro-esque games (for me at least)

hey there :D my guess would be that its a different version than yours (North America, Europe and Japan have different versions, maybe other regions as well) i have the german PAL version at home and the menu is also different than i had in this playthrough where i used the North American NTSC version :) (i prefer english for youtube cause most of my viewers probably cant read german :D)

when i was .. way too young to play this game my dad and i thought Kira became a robot and basically used her mech-suit in battles.. :D

hey there :D unless you spilled water over it or threw it into a fire, im pretty sure it still works :D my memory cards and my ps1 are also quite old yet everything works perfectly fine :D

i agree with all of that :D yeah i also thought about a proper prequel with Ash´s Dad or a sequel.. the 2nd game literally hints a sequel where Ash and Joshua (the main character of VH2) fight someone together so im not sure why we got "flames of judgement" instead of it..

Plus I didn't know that you can kill Kira with phase shift in Fort Dain.

@@eljugadorescaldenc4002 yeah, im not sure but i think i accidentally did it in a playthrough where i used a big AoE spell and Kira was in range of it.. :D

yeah same.. especially cause he appears in the super arc of other characters (we had him with us when we played as Goku vs Jiren, Frieza, Anilaza and probably more) not sure why they went with this cause it doesnt make much sense to me

actually true yeah :D in my country Gala could legally drink Alcohol cause in germany, Beer is legal at 16 and everything else is legal at 18 :D

nah its not too hard, just fight the enemies that are in the lategame areas :) they always scale to your level so you always get decent exp :)

i think so too, yeah. at least in the sequel, that worked :D at least it got the ally out of range from close combat apart from spears cause they can hit up/down as well :D

hey there :D well, archers usually prefer ranged combat so just make sure your archers are out of his reach :) another idea is to spellbind the archer (or any other enemy) but if you do the trials early on, you probably dont have the mp for it but yeah, keeping an archer alive and either have him focus a melee unit (like clint at 2:35) and keep your archers away from him and you should be good :D you can always use the in-battle save option to test things out and if something goes wrong, you can load and continue right there :D

@@TakeasRealm so should I try to get to the top as fast as possible? Deal with the flyers before hand or what? I get them down fast it's the dark golem and hunter imps I'm having trouble manipulating atm.

after grueling trial and errors to pull off a no death I managed to do it lol.

@@D_Disciple not sure why youtube didnt show me your comments.. happy it worked out tho! i took out the fliers first, then used magic and archers for the golems :)

@@TakeasRealm I did the same with fliers, Eleni for the golems and archers until I was able to advance classes and worked on it a bit more. It got to the point that mage oil was giving me more experience than herbs, especially learning how the game will try to equate experience points to hit 100 as close as possible.

true haha, i wonder how he looks with Noas Weapon or Galas Weapon :D i already recorded the next episode but for the one after that i might make a few edits at the beginning to see how the team fights with "wrong" weapons :D

actually not a bad idea, hopefully i can remember it when we continue this game :D for now Budokai Tenkaichi 2 will be paused and instead we will focus on Sparking Zero :) but i 100% want to finish this game and do the tournament modes as well so i cant promise anything but if i remember it by then (or you remind me :D) then Zarbon and Dodoria will take on Dragon Tag 1 :D

@@TakeasRealm also i recomend play for nostalgia or remember the polemic game of Crash of the Titans

well, idk how accurate those numbers are but the treasure guide i use also has absorb % chance for the seru in each area so i guess some are easier and some are harder to get :D for example, when we first get Gimard its a 60% chance to absorb according to the guide (in Rim Elm and Drake Castle) and when we encounter the lvl 2 version in Byron Monestary, its a 55% chance to get. the Viguro we had as a bossfight in voz forest have a 10% chance to absorb and a 40% chance to absorb with the ivory book equipped later we will find more seru that (according to the guide) have 15 or 20 % chance to absorb.. but idk where those numbers come from so idk if they are accurate :D (a little bit later while writing this and doing research :D) i found another list with the same numbers so i guess someone out there did some digging for the values :D but yeah, TLDR: its different for all seru AND different depending on the lvl of the seru.

yeah its a lot harder than the normal game :D the issue with "hard mode" is that the exp calculation doesnt recognize the changed lvls and you will see more of that later :D but attacking a lvl 10 enemy with a lvl 10 character should give more than 3 exp.. :D

well yeah, do it like everyone else outside of japan :D get an emulator thats compatible with sega saturn games, get the romhack (the english patch basically) and start playing :D

wow i didnt know that! :O i own Alundra 1 and 2 but i only played a bit of the first one when i was a kid :) its on my list of games i want to play in the future tho :D

@@TakeasRealm Alundra 1 Is One of my favourite game of all time, i think the second doesn't match how good was the First One. I would like to see a 100% from both ❤️

i agree, without a guide there is little chance to get this ending on your first playthrough and 100%ing the game (as you saw by the episode count) takes way too long compared to a normal playthrough :D

@@TakeasRealm well both, because Videl was upgraded in level of damage and healht, also i prefer put all oozarus there (i mean Great Ape normal, Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, Turles, Bardock & Baby)

hey there :D thanks for letting me know, i shall check it out and add it to the next episode (tuesday) :) after seeing Broly there for what felt like 50 times, i kinda expected him to be there again so i didnt check it out..

@@TakeasRealm also i don't know if you have discord, i can show you in my screen how i play that moment lol. When i played years later DBZ BT2 i used only attack from back and spamming the throw attack (i have the latin spanish version of that game)

@@Humutantrix nah its all good my friend, i just recorded the fight you mentioned and towards the end i tried a new combo that i tried to learn :D its basically what i always do (square then low-sweep triangle) BUT then i kicked the enemy into the air (up triangle) and instead of mashins square i hit triangle again which resulted in a big stomach punch, then i combo´d with square again, did a ton of damage :D i already recorded the next episode (tapion-hirudegarn movie) earlier today so i didnt use this new combo there but after that episode ( thursday) i will try to mix my combo-game a bit :D usually when i try new combos the enemy goes crazy on me but i will try my best to make this entertaining :D (btw, just bought sparking zero earlier today so thats definitely coming soon IF my pc can handle it cause the requirements are kinda nuts..) EDIT : as a kid i only had the WII version of bt2 so i never got to learn the ps2 buttons and combos but hey, game-level-2 is allright i think :D its a good mix between fun and challenging.. lvl 1 is too easy, thats not fun to watch lvl 3 is too crazy for me personally, although i enjoy watching bt2-pros play on lvl 3 :D

hey there :D sadly not, when i re-played it yesterday/monday and absorbed a lvl 2 theeder with Noa, it was still lvl 1 when i absorbed it :( later we will encounter lvl3 versions of the seru as well but i dont think it changes with them im already done leveling gala to lvl10 in the "new" playthrough and i only have to get back to east voz forest where this episode ended so its all good :D i will explain my lvl-grind method as well cause i did it a bit different than most would expect, no cheats or exploits tho, all legit :D

yeah those were the days my friend.. but hey, maybe with sparking zero coming out soon we get some of that "nostalgia feeling" back (of course i will play it on the channel, but i dont have the money to buy it right away :D)
