I think wind was quite bad I struggled to get into 180s on the straight and I always was topping the clock before. Yeah that last corner probably looses me the most time. Gonna go back October and stick a new tyre on last day 👏🏽

@@shy231__6 that wind can really sap some speed. yeah I reckon you’ll easily shave off a second. 4th should let you power on progressively and carry much more speed. I’m bloody jealous, I’d like to go back there with you guys one day. Need to get myself a thousand first 😂

That's a really good time mate. Ill do the redline event instead next year. Next year you will defo get a sub 2. Next year I want to put a new tyre on the last day to see if that makes a big difference

@shy231__ I put a new one on the last day as my tyre was starting to move around a bit at the end of day 2. Defo gave me more confidence in the morning of day 3 and I was able to hold the throttle wide open in places I was getting movement thr previous afternoon. Fatigue got the better of me in the afternoon though so defo got to work on my fitness

@Rich Bones Jones I was on 3 day old tyres when I put the best lap time in haha. Hopefully have another 1/2 seconds in me with a new tyre

Redline were good no troubles at all. The garages were a bit crammed, could have done with an extra 2. Hotel was club amarilis. Its nothing amazing but doesn't need to be. Does the job. This changes year to year I think though. I'll be booking may 23 again very soon 🙂

@@shy231__6 If you get a Go pro 8 onwards it has decent stabilisation. The Gopro 9 and 10 are especially good. But tbh the shaky camera gives it a feel of realism and sense of speed 👍🏻

Haha Thankyou! Yes its funny how well the SV does especially with proper supersports bikes. I always have fun when i take this to Brands. Used to be very scared of trail braking but doing so really helps to turn the bike. I only really learnt how to utilise it this year. Im back doing an Indy evening on 12/07 on my S1000RR, will be on slicks for the first time at Brands too so cant wait to see how much quicker i can go 😀

@@shy231__6 Haha I was 100% right Sir👍🏻 I learnt mine in Cal Superbike school and it's all I'm doing now, before that I never liked the idea cos of what I heard, but when you do it right it is beautiful. I'm there on 20/7 for Indy and 27/7 for GP, so I'll look out for you flying past me, I'll be on my black RSV4 Factory. JSvensen here is another top bloke. Cheers mate👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Yes matey, I was sharing with Dylan. Haha the wheelies didn't seem so scary, seemed to be able to control the quite well with the throttle. I'm not any good at using back brake for it

@@shy231__6 ah good stuff, I was on the flo yellow and blue gixer who was giving Dylan a lift up and down to the track. I know what you mean about the wheelies feeling more controlled but I would still shit myself and drop the front 🤣

I think they will do that standard tbh. The speedo stops counting at 186mph tho so could have been a little bit more lol

It's a very capable bike i had so much fun. Ive sold this now hoping to get something sportier to use next year. Be careful of hitting the pegs

they run some days with no noise test like on this occasion. They do still have driveby but i had no problems. I know this exhaust is 107db on static test

Really good mate it's a great bike on track. The only thing I suffer with is ground clearance as I hit the pegs every now and then & wind (starting to just get used to it now) Brakes I've just fitted ebc hh pads and that's it. Mines a non abs model too so get great feeling. Only other thing I've done worth mentioning is I've had the suspension set up to my weight. That's well worth doing . Yep defo get rid of the tyres. These are michelin road 5s which are great for all year use but I'd love to try it which something more track oriented.

@@shy231__6 thank you for your reply, I haven't hit my pegs yet but yes agree with the wind blast. Am getting used to it now though, ah il have a look into them. The brakes are really strong anyway but don't know how'd they would hold up to track use, mines abs but can disable it, Yes I had the suspension set up to me on my zx6 that was a massive improvement so will definitely be doing that to the triple, Yeah I agree the bt016s arent the best, done a bit of fastish road riding and had no feeling through the front. Have got a set of s22s to put on at some point, used the s21 on my zx6 on track and got on fine with them. Great all round tyre I found so the 22s should be even better. What exhaust have you got?

@@ryanforeman3650 The s22's are meant to be great wished i had opted for those. Its a SC projects slip on. Very loud so doesnt pass noise test anywhere else. I switch to the stock system for those days.

@@shy231__6 yeah they are/were on offer, 250 for a set, the s21 are a fantastic tyre still if you can get hold of them did you have to map the bike up to that exhaust, I keep looking at getting a arrow slip on for mine. And quick shifter too

@@ryanforeman3650 I haven't mapped it but when I bought it the guy said its got the arrow flash map on it. Quickshifter is well worth it makes it alot more fun. Sounds awesome with this pipe too. The arrow pipe isn't very loud from what I've heard and still quite heavy. Maybe a scorpion would be better.

Yeah so glad weather was good. I've had terrrible luck with that. Not sure on times. Its my first time there so I doubt they will be very good lol
