@@BlackSalamiTV I agree that the prophet Muhammad sets the standard. I also agree that prophet Muhammad is worshipped more than god at times by Muslims. But Judaism and Christianity set the precedent by not establishing an age of consent is my point. Their tradition was puberty signaled womanhood. they don’t have age of consent. Not even in the New Testament. Islam is down stream from Christianity. They even believe in Jesus. They just believe he was a prophet. If Jesus truly set the age of consent, surely Muhammad would have noticed. I’m not a talmudist or an Islamist. I view the holy texts as part mythology and part cultural reference, since it’s hard to know which characters of the Bible were really known to exist. It is likely Jesus and Muhammad existed though. But which parts of their stories were true based on evidence is up for debate. The age of consent for girls is around 12 during Jesus time. The Roman’s age of consent was also 12. Not by law but by tradition
