Happy Solstice, folken! Let us all look forward as the days get longer again. November and December are dark days for me every year, and this year I felt as though none of my efforts were enough or appreciated, and all efforts were wasted anyway in a world where hope has to be so purposefully sought. I was in danger of folding in on myself a few times. This song came from my seeking to tread my emotional waves, acknowledging them and processing them to put that shit behind me and continue looking forward. I’m in love with the results, being so dynamically layered and sonically adventurous! I hope y’all enjoy it, and are finding it in yourselves to look forward to the days ahead…with hope.
