เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 20 พ.ย. 2019
Hong Kong Watch is a UK registered charity founded in 2017, consisting of Hong Kongers and friends of Hong Kong, working closely with Hong Kong community groups in the diaspora.
We inform and educate legislators, policy-makers and the media, and raise awareness among the wider public, about the violations of human rights, basic freedoms and the rule of law in Hong Kong, and advocate for actions to assist Hong Kongers. We do this through a combination of in-depth research reports, regular topical briefings, opinion editorials, media briefings and interviews, and advocacy campaigns.
We also help integrate, support, welcome and strengthen the capacity of the Hong Kong diaspora, through a programme of civic and political education and community engagement.

BNO hustings event with parliamentary candidates in Sutton
On 15 June 2024, Hong Kong Watch hosted a hustings event in Sutton to encourage BNO Hong Kongers to meet with their local candidates and learn about the different political parties leading up to the UK General Election. This event was organised in partnership with local community groups Sutton Hongkongers and Vote for Hong Kong, and welcomed over 70 BNOs and journalists.
Two candidates for Charshalton and Wallington, Bobby Dean (Liberal Democrat) and Hersh Thaker (Labour), and two other candidates for Sutton and Cheam, Luke Taylor (Liberal Democrat) and Tom Drummond (Conservative), spoke at the event.
The crowd engaged in a discussion on policy issues on both local and national levels, and highlighted BNO concerns such as safety and security, e-gate access, and Home Fee status for BNOs.
Other candidates for Sutton and Cheam include: Aasha Anam (Green), Hamilton Action-Man Kingsley (Independent), Ryan Powell (Reform UK), and Chrishni Reshekaron (Labour).
Other candidates for Carshalton and Wallington include: Elliot Colburn (Conservative), Elizabeth Cooper (Reform UK), Ashley Dickenson (Christian Peoples Alliance), Tracey Hague (Green), Steve Kelleher (Social Democratic Party) and Atif Abdul Rashid (Workers Party of Britain).

A thing that never gets old, FREE Hong Kong!!!
Miss you Lord! I still remember the good old days you onboard when I was still a kid, many wonderful policy including electoral reform, new airport, and economic prosperity like rock and roll! After communist taken over, fake lies, mystery virus, brainwashing propaganda, modified elections rules like DEI to include their puppet elected, are all along with their shows make us sick! Now they are targeting to flip the world with their rules, the world had to watch out!

Well observed, analyzed, and stated. The lesson here is that people should never again be naive and trust China. Instead, countries should be defensive and never underestimate China’s ambition to defeat the free world. What Britain should have done though in 1997, was to have kept Hong Kong island, which was ceded to Britain in the Treaty. Despite being just a tiny island, it could be a foothold so as to maintain a degree of presence, position, and control in the area. The harbour, the financial hub, the legal system would then at least still be controlled by a government that believes in the freedom of speech, freedom of press, and the rule of law. It is unfortunately too late now but at the very least, we should keep speaking up and not bow down to China, which is exactly what it wants.

Hahahahaha “Three activists, including Hong Kong Watch Associate Joey Siu and Tibetan student Tsela Zoksang, were arrested at the Acropolis of Athens on 17 October 2021, the day before the lighting of the Olympic Torch.” 😂😂😂😂😂 What a bunch of losers
Spoken with true conviction by a man of integrity
Did Benedict Rogers step down from Hong Kong Watch as well as being the Head of East Asia Division of Christian Solidarity Worldwide because he was racist towards a Malaysian colleague?
Can this guy even speak Cantonese?

Excellent. Lived and worked in Hong Kong 1977-80, I would not call it perfect but it worked very well despite exceptionally challenging circumstances, courageous hard working, freedom loving people. such a shame to see it trashed by intolerant ignorant thugs....
Thank you Lord Patten as always speaking for Hong Kong. Take good care of yourself and your family. 🌹🌹🌹🌹

Unfortunately, Chinese are very good at agreeing with you as long as things are going their own way. But once their feet are under the table, they then can turn pretty nasty. I lived in China for 20 years. - things have changed such a lot over these past 10 years.
Thank you Lord Patten for saying exactly how Hong Kong has sadly become! I lived in Hong Kong 30+ years from 1968 and had the great pleasure and honor of hosting you, in your capacity as Governor on several occasions in my role as Manager of The Regent Hotel, in Tsim Sha Tsui where you frequently attended functions in our Ballroom. Arriving in great style via Crown Car with a Police Escort and your Charge De Affairs keeping a discreet distance. Best regards to yourself, Mrs. Patten and your daughters... 🙏
