I show it at the very end. It's 2-piece Maleficer for cooldown reduction, and 2-piece Grim for physical and spell power. Felt like most bonuses from those are pretty useful for this fight, especially the cooldown reduction which allows me to spam counters for almost every Dracula move.

It's an awesome game! I've been putting it off for a long time but I loved it when I tried it. And it's going out of Beta in 3 days! PvE is fun (survival / gathering / building / boss fighting), and it also has PvP where you can raid castles of other players and/or team up to kill bosses (it all depends on the server settings).

I killed the boss in the last second though! Ended up being more epic than it should've been because of the sun. Just had to fly there again from the nearest gate.

It's managable if doing it the slow way like I did. Although the rising sun in the end showed the downside of the slow way haha. The hardest fight in this game (Adam) is much more of a pain. Can't kite him around, and his abilities deal like twice the damage. V Rising is getting a huuuge update in 3 days though, so all of this will be history with new endgame coming and a lot of systems getting reworked. They are also adding a "brutal" difficulty with bosses having even more moves, so I'm getting ready to get my ass kicked even more :)

@@daerthan I might take a break, so many games to play. But I might decide to migrate to trade HC and do some kind of poison Pathfinder again. Bossfights feel so much easier on Pathfinder with life flask overleech.

@@78i78i I league started with BV Poison PF, always liked to start the league with that build, smooth and easy mapping. But I play on SC so you know, dont have to worry about dying. My internet isn't suitable to play HC. :D

I was going to level with Poisonous Concoction but it was bugged on day 1 so I leveled as Caustic Arrow + Toxic Rain. Then on maps I switched to poison Seismic + Exsanguinate traps, then after getting 2 voidstones switched to poison self cast Exsanguinate. Only after level 100 I went for brand. But it turned out brand is much stronger so of course you can do it earlier. It requires a few uniques and explosion sources to feel good though. If you have some currency say just level with Hollow Palm, it's insane for acts, but you have to buy uniques and use regret orbs later. Otherwise, you could level as Poisonos Concoction or TR, both are pretty strong. I would switch to poison Penance brand of dissipation only at level 70+. To work, it requires a lot of "physical as extra chaos" plus a lot of "chance to poison".

@@NexGenUtuber Penance Brand of Dissipation is almost certainly getting nerfed. Damage is just too big compared to the competition. But there are so many options for poison Pathfinder that you will definitely find something if you want poison spell PF. Blade Vortex, Exsanguinate, and Ethereal Knives are all solid options.

Yes, making many characters is probably the biggest waste of time and currency. But if you have fun with your chars, then it's all worth it :)

Thanks :) I know, and I was debating whether or not to sell shards when I was approaching 19. But there are downsides to that. 1) wouldn't feel quite as satisfying 2) chore of selling shards 3) hustle of managing collateral when trading for a mirror.

pobb.in/Fbyhyh6sRZan Poison Penance Brand of Dissipation Pathfinder. Can tank uber Shaper slam and AFK in the middle of ball phase on Exarch. Around 17 mil pinnacle DPS, 5 mil uber dps. Costs only about 150 div to make, maybe even 100. Progenesis is just 30 div now :)

I hate the idea of spending juice just to get 50:50 odds. Entertaining to watch others do it but outside of SSF I just don't see a point to do it myself haha.

​@@igor_pavlovich If you have n cards and you gamble until n*2 or 0, it's 50% chance to end up with 8, and 50% chance to end up with 0. But you also lose yellow juice in the process. Of course each individual click is not "50/50" per say. E.g. if you put in 2 cards, you can get 0, or 1, or 2, or 3, or 4. So it's 20/20/20/20/20. Not sure where "25/75" is coming from, though :)

@@spicywolf2753 Congrats! I tried t7 cemetery for a bit as well (~200 maps in total). It was fun at first but became a bit boring to me after a week. Didn't get any crazy drops aside from one Hinekora's Lock.

Yeah I was looking for something to get attack block from Guardian node initially (e.g. Smite), but then realized that Cyclone is free phasing plus I can use Relic because why not.

Sadly, this build doen't work anymore. Even for Standard they nerfed it a lot, and in Ancestor league the Crucible mod for totem explode isn't available at all. @78i78i I watched it, I tried following it and it got a complete noob like me past Maven (after 5 tries¡¡) but I just died twice to uber maven and it wasn't even close. I don't think I have the skills of a full time streamer to go do it even with 6 portals on that build. You think EA elementalist will have better chance? How about poison srs necro ?

@@darain6822 EA elementalist requires great gear to kill Ubers. If you are willing to farm for a long time and minmax your DPS, it should be doable. Also Champion EA could be fine, less DPS but more tanky so you aren't reliant on bursting the boss. But maybe for softcore Elementalist makes more sense, yea. Poison SRS is great, but I don't know the details about that one. Probably also very gear-dependant. But with good gear it should do well vs Ubers, maybe even better than EA Elementalist. Uber Maven is very hard IMO. You can just farm and practice normal Maven and maybe tackle Uber Shaper and Uber Cortex in the meantime. Uber Cortex can be easy with easy map mods but can be hard with crazy mods. Uber Exarch should be also very doable for softcore, if you die to balls you can skip ball phase, so you only need to survive his normal attacks and you can die every ball phase and win the fight. I'd leave Maven for last (although Sirus and potentially UberUberElder can also be problematic).

@78i78i thank you for your in depth reply I actually practiced normal Maven 5 times before I go uber, and do maven deathless. But I cannot get past last phase of uber maven. I watched Ben done on HC but he uses very advanced tactics to drag the map boss to maven to blow them up perfectly to kill maven very fast. Without that technique I have no hope to do uber maven even on SC sadly. I might try on ea elementalist. I farmed to level 100 already so I have some divine orb etc to craft

What builds you usually play? Survival with Gastronomy and Soldier's Resistance is much more forviging to mistakes than most other builds. Unfortunately I find most survival weapons hard to use. For biomes Ice Crossbow is super good, or just any weapon + freeze (Frost Blast or Ice Bow). For bosses Giantkiller is probably the best one.

I don't follow guides, best way to do it nowadays is to look at poe.ninja/builds and see what's popular and what's working. You can sort by solo delve and pick an archetype, then look at a few characters of that archetype as an example and build yours in a similar fasion. This might require some deeper game knowledge so you might miss many things when doing it for the first time, but on the other hand it's a great way to learn. Also you can still try looking for a guide after you chose an archetype, and you'll know that guide probably isn't BS because this archetype is actually proved to work. Scourge Arrow Raider and Ice Shot Deadeye seem to be the best for super deep delve right now, but if you are just learning the game I would advise against using them for delving this league. Those builds are super expensive to get going, and like you see in my video they usually rely only on DPS, so if you allow any monster to hit you, you immediately die. I'd suggest looking at Vortex/Cold Snap Occultist or Herald of Agony Guardian. They rely on tankiness rather than DPS, and should be less frustrating to play with in both delve and boss content. Also not quite as expensive.

@@78i78i thanks for the help, I'm currently using a Holy flame totem heirophant with 5k life 1k es and 2k mana with MoM (+10 from ascendancy) 4 totems, each one max at around 130k when they get going... Currently at maybe 180 depth and feeling like I may start struggling. I bought the metamorph mtx package with the basilisk stuff in so I'd like a poison style build so I could put it on this new character XD My account is open on Poe site. @@josephjones3729 I highly recomment usind Path of Building. You can import your build in 5 seconds and look at the tree to check how much DPS your nodes give. Make sure to visit Configuration tab to make sure that it accounts for power charges and stuff like that. Infernal Mantle converts some of your fire damage to Chaos Damage, and you cannot deal Chaos Damage because of Avatar of Fire node. I'd say replace Infernal Mantle ASAP, get a good body armour with a lot of life instead. Also are you sure that your fire res is your highest resist? If not, Wise Oak flask won't be very useful for you. You could also look to upgrade your other gear pieces, I think you can find much better stuff once you have a few hundred chaos. Power Charge nodes give you an extremely small DPS increase. Not sure why you pick them up, were they recommended by some guide? Your crit multi is 170% (I assume you helped Alira) which is very little for crit build, which makes Power Charges even weaker, but they are usually skipped on most crit builds anyway. Pretty unfortunate that you bought Anger Watcher's Eye, Anger gives not nearly as much damage as Zealotry. I'd suggest selling your Watcher's Eye and using Zealotry and Herald of Ash or even better using only one of them and using a good rare ring (you can buy Watcher's Eye for Zealotry instead). Even with current Watcher's Eye Zealotry 20 gives more damage than Anger 20. Or you can just use Diamond Flask instead, I recommend using it since with new tree you are closer to the actual crit build (according to PoB with Diamond Flask will give you 28.5% MORE dps with the new tree).

Just saw your comment. Yes that's basically it. It was back in 3.8 and it was possible to get past 1000 with around 50 ex I believe. But I guess my reply doesn't make sense anymore since it's so late. Also in 3.9 (when you asked this question) Scourge Arrow was already nerfed anyway. People use Ice Shot for deep delve nowadays.

Hey, in this video I have 0 investment into life and resists so I have A LOT of damage and attack speed. Insane damage allows me to do very good damage on 2-3 SA stages. Attack speed allows me to reach stages faster. Also very important thing is SA helmet enchant. Not sure if they changed it in 3.9, but in 3.8 it always gave an extra pod, not only at max stages. This is very good for when you are fightning trash monsters and only reach 1-2 stages to avoid wasting time. On bosses I try to go for full 5 stage shots as this way DPS in much higher.

Yes, it's very profitable. Map nodes become super common. Rare fossil nodes also appear more and more often, from 1400 to 1500 I got around 10-15 fossils that cost 90c+, and it becomes even better when you go down. Cities also become common and you'll see Aul more often. The best thing is that you almost don't pay anything to delve if you use sulphite rotations. You bring 3 high quant maps and 3 niko dailies/scarabs, and you get 48-50k sulphite.

@@DerTannenSchredder Yeah to reach ~500 you just need either really good defense or really high DPS clear skill (for SC only). If you go DPS route then ideally it's cold damage or at least smth that removes corpses. E.g. Herald of Agony Guardian seems to be doing well since it has so much ES, Icicle mine Saboteur is pretty good since it's high DPS and freeze, Necromancers were also doing well since they are just so strong and well-rounded. But to go for 1000 and deeper it's better to select a build more carefully. In 3.8 most would go SA raider / Tornado Shot Deadeye / Icicle Mine Deadeye (insane dps glass cannons) or Cyclone Jugg / HoAg Guardian / Vortex Occultist (superb tanks).

Kaom's Roots (unique Titan Greaves). "You cannot be slowed to below base speed" mod makes you immune to most slows in the game, including that Siphon. I only used them for this fight because they are bad for mapping with 0% increased movement speed. You can do without them, but it's sketchier. If you wanna do without, as soon as he starts the siphon you need to spam movement skill in a direction perpendicular to the direction from you to the Shaper. Because if he is about to unleash his Beam or Balls you can die because of how slow you are. So by going sideways you kinda pre-dodge it. But if you can cap your resists with Kaom's, better just wear Kaom's. I used Headhunter for mapping so for this fight I switched HH for rare stygian wise with a lot of resists, and switched my rare MS boots with resists to Kaom's. Stayed at res cap while getting more HP and slow immunity.

​@@hangienangy - To be honest the biggest difference is character level, as I'm level 100 I picked up more good nodes and have more base mana. But still you can get to 10-11k very soon. Easiest improvement is to get all 20/20% Healthy Mind jewels. I'd also suggest to improve rings if possible, you want a lot of flat mana and ideally ES, but flat 1 mana gives you more ES than flat 1 ES while also giving damage, so mana is the priority. As far at the passive tree goes I'd start with Arcane Focus node. Then Arcane Chemistry and then Unnatural Calm. But if you don't mind longer ramp-up time, you can temporary give up jewel node to the bottom right from Scion start and have 1 less Fevered Mind, and go for Arcane Focus and Unnatural Calm right away for maximum ES. But then I'm not sure if you gonna have enough Dex, so plan ahead.

@@hangienangy - By the way, I recommend buying at least 20/20 Lightning Warp right away, as it can greatly improve your travel speed.

If you are talking about Beacon of Ruin Elementalist node that allows you to shock monsters even if you didn't do enough damage, then the answer is yes.

@@lyca3507 - Yes, it's worth using it because of "Supported Skills deal (20-39)% more Damage with Hits and Ailments against Chilled Enemies" property. Enemies are pretty much always chilled, so it's a 39% more damage support gem. BV doesn't actually have incredible support gems for this build, so Hypotermia is a must. You simply won't find a support gem that gives more damage to replace it. Beacon of Ruin ensures that we chill even bosses with millions of life points.

That was done in Incursion league so that character is in Standard now. In Delve league I also killed Uber Elder deathless today (video incoming) and my Delve char is even stronger (12k ES Indigon beast). I think I could do a carry, although I never tried.

That's true, had about 80 ex worth of gear. But I think on 20-30 ex Uber Elder is also pretty easy with this build. Pretty surprised they didn't nerf BV or Inpulsa in 3.4, the strongest builds I've played so far. Trying out Indigon Poet's Pen Hierophant right now though, we'll see how it works when I get real gear. Maybe I'll upload another Uber Elder video soon (got Red Elder down today).

@@DerTannenSchredder - Hey, just saw your message. I guess it's not relevant anymore. But if you still need it, let me know. For the passive tree I'd say any top BV crit elementalist from poe.ninja/builds should work, they are pretty much the same. As for your damage, I could look at your character if you provide a link and try to see what's wrong.

My gear is somewhere between 50 and 100 ex, yes. But BV is almost as strong on 20ex budget, you'd have around 60-70% of my damage, which is enough. Unless you know the fight really really well, I wouldn't recommend going into it without pretty good gear as BV Elementalist, though. But with 6-link, double 3-4 ex stat-sticks and optimized jewels/jewelry it's very doable.

50 EX is not much really.. My Arc trap need 50 ex budget to beat Uber Elder reliably too (and not deathless)
