here's the second of the de montfort series.
i'm so mad cause it's full of glitches but i also love it.
the story of how to frivolous, loveless people came together to become a lot more sensible and a great deal more loved.
clara warwick is heir to a great fortune, which would provide a generous fit for the younger de montfort sibling, keen to gambling and wasting his money away. once his funds are cut short by his own family, this union seems to prove as the best solution. caesar doesn't like the idea of having a wife, any wife, even a wealthy one, and clara simply doesn't like him, but needs the protection of his powerful name.
it's good that they don't see each other often since he's also in the army, but once they're encoureged (forced) to spend time together in the countryside by their relatives, they realize their relationship holds more than just convenience.
