What are your thoughts on Yamaha TW200? Comparable to the XT250?

Been riding DP bikes since 1982, and I agree. However, only if the rider is medium size or smaller. The XT250 is actually quite small with tight ergonomics and very low seat height. I am about 5' 7 1/2" with 32" inseam and it is pretty small even for me. It was perfect for my wife though is 5'4" with a much shorter inseam. It is a VERY well built motorcycle. For riders over 5' 8" or so, a CRF300L or KLX300 would probably be a better choice as those would take much longer to "out grow". Also the XT has ergonomics designed for sit-down riding. The plush suspension and soft seat make it really excel in this role. However if/when a rider's skills improve and they want to ride faster/more aggressively, the sit-down ergos become a reason to trade it in on something more suitable for faster riding. Outstanding bike though for relaxed riding for just about anyone.

One of my all time favorites and surprisingly versatile dirt bikes , the 92 cr250r . The last of the steel breed may have been the best all around bikes Honda made.

Do you have to have a headlight/taillight/plate?

I’ve run xc for a while now and want to get into enduros...how strict are they on the headlight/taillight rule? Seems like I’ve seen pics and videos of guys not having them!

I do a couple hare scrambles a year, being able to make multiple laps/pit stops to refill water, how long do these typically last? Can you leave water refills at the gas stop or are you pretty much limited to whatever is in your hydration pack?

You should use brake pressure to take the caliper piston out , otherwise it would take ages to take it out ,

Was on Row 41 with you. Red gear. Was really glad to get out of that creek section too cuz after that it was awesome trail.

I was on row 9. The ruts in that first section were not near as bad.

I was also in 30+C. It was my first enduro race. I wasted a lot of energy in that first section and couldn’t physically recover. The heat didn’t help any. I pushed on past the gas stop but still houred out. I ended up 5th. I raced the little burr and it was way easier than this race. Looking forward to more race videos.

I heard it was a good but very hard race, alot of guys houred out, i was gone out of town but i would had tried it either way.

Looks alot more interesting than the lost in lodi terrain.

I rode 30+c that day on row 14. I burned that check right before the hill by 6 minutes. Hahah I was probably one of the guys in the bottle neck. I tried to pass a guy and crashed. I helped him off and then I started off myself. I was totally pooped out at the end of the day. I houred out at check 9. 4th place in 30+c.

I was the other beta on row 11, I houred out at check 5 and rode back to the start, thanks for the video!

Where are you riding? what state? Im in Canada (Quebec), an have been wanting to plan a trip to USA to do some enduro.

Why in the world would you take the bike out of the garage without hand guards on . You would think for 8,000 dollars it would be stock .

Hi Sean thank you . The abs sensor wire is vulnerable if any off road riding a branch could get in between & snag it out .

I have a 2018 and spring has just arrived here in Canada. I've got 200km on it in the neighbourhood and I hope the tires will be okay for trails at least this year?
