The Keltec slide with crimson trace has the keltec logo cut out of the steel slide plate. It looks like they cut it out to compensate for extra weight. If you drill some holes in the slide plate it should accomplish the same thing.

Just had the exact same failure mode as shown in this video, mine blew the extractor out of the bolt. Definate OOB as the case shows all the signs. I heard the same trigger theory but I am now on the third iteration of trigger (Rise, Gie, and just a run of the mill AR 15 trigger). My failure was also on a Glock 33rd mag ... think the Glock mags are the issue. Ran a D50 magpul just fine (50rds). Mine has the latest barrel, BK Firearms BCG, AR buffer spring, and a 10oz buffer from KAK (slide weight). Luckly I got most of the stuff on sale. DUD

Over the last year as I've gotten into shooting as a hobby, I'm continually amazed: I've never heard a word pronounced so many different incorrect ways as "ambidextrous". Am-bee-DEX-truss. There is only one "I" in the word.

OOB Detenation.. Had the same problem twice with my Aero Epc9. First I got a SQUIB, first or second hollow point ever shot got stuck in the barrel and shot the mag out of the mag holder. Replaced the barrel cause the bullet was lodged halfway in between. Tried to drill it out but no luck. Now I only shoot FMJ. Then after replacing the barrel, I got burst fire/bolt bounce.I Thought it was bolt bounce so I changed out the Aero epc9 buffer weight and aero 308 spring for a heavier buffer with sliding weights and a lighter regular ar15 spring but it still had the burst fire/bolt bounce. I believe it was the hiperfire mcx trigger that was making it burst fire/bolt bounce, Maybe the blowback was too much for a 2lb trigger. I installed a stock Aero AR15 trigger. Works fine now and a lot of fun to shoot but HAVE NOT reinstalled the aero recommended epc9 buffer and spring. I will try to swap it out next range time and see if it still cycles properly.

Bought mine brand spanking new, disassembled cleaned and oiled and jammed on round 1! Can't get this thing fixed and it's sad as heck. Ruger has had it 3 times and still have yet to be able to go through a full clip of 15 without a jam.
