Every time I play one of these videos its strange because I relive the fresh rawness of that weekend . Sometimes I still can't believe this happened to her. Its been a few months shy of a decade and I'm still like " not Whitney. It happened to other superstars but not Whitney " .. I knew in my heart she'd struggle off and on with drugs but for some reason I never thought she would die that way and become one of those iconic legends with a tragic end, died young and frozen in time . I suppose I shouldn't have been so sure she wouldn't become that but I was, really.

Whitney Houston was, is, and always will be The Greatest Voice of All. Her lack of insecurity whatsoever around other extremely talented singers and her graciousness to share her talent with them are just two of the many, many testimonies to that.

Wonder 💭 this show was b4 or after WH met Bobby&got booed by the crowd? Clive wouldn’t have let WH to go into these kinds of hard core black shows! The mater mind of the music industry were manipulating/ pushing Wh to move toward “black”, while preparing Mariah to be the next Whitney or white Whitney! This year was a big turning point of WH’ s life!

CeCe was trying to come up to the level to match the note Whitney left off at, it was not as easy as it was for Whitney . Whitney had so much grace and anointing beautiful rendition. I enjoyed every moment , thank you for posting !
