เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 7 ธ.ค. 2016
Oxford Conversations is a collection of curated interviews with leading Christian academics and scholars at the University of Oxford.
The conversations are candid, sometimes technical, sometimes funny, always thoughtful and inspiring.
Scholars are invited to recall their journeys into academia, explain their research, offer advice for academic flourishing, and reflect on the theoretical and practical integration of faith and scholarship.
They are legal theorists, astrophysicists, theologians, ornithologists, biblical scholars, ethicists, pathologists, international lawyers, priests, economists, physicists, and so forth.

Heresy.
this was the best explanation out there.
Women should not be ordained priests or bishops in the church
It's better when you read about someone and hear her. It's better.
Could you please help me to become a priest?

I am sure you find what you need to carry this project forward as It is very important and society need it so much!
Xd
Sabina, are you corrupt?
Very brief and very easy to absorb in mind.
Beautiful 🤍
Interesting discussion. I am able to update my knowledge on studying/ measuring poverty.
Wrong.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life John 3:1😆😆😆😆
1+1=
who is this
This is Sabina Alkire.
I love her❤️
Very nice brief summary of a complex idea. Splendid series of videos. Prof Alkire's work on poverty and development is very exciting, I can recommend everyone to check out some of her recent papers ophi.org.uk/sabina-alkire/
I loved the idea of these Missing dimensions, especially social isolation, I think its extremely important when we look at these in any economy's context. And I am gonna do more research on this topic. Thanks a lot for sharing this...
She is a very amazing person for doing such a great thing for the poor community of the world. Because income and consumption can't explain poverty in a way that multidimensional poverty index explains.
One year by now, hopefully finish my thesis about MPI
Hope it went well :)
I hope you have finished your thesis by now? How was it?
It is a state of mindset
What is new in this jargon. If someone has enough money he can have everything. This is known to a child as well. Sen has nothing new to offer, he is just playing with words.
It's not necessarily about money, it's about the power dynamics that money was created to calibrate and maintain . Think a lil' deeper . . . It's not money, but who controls it and why access to money does not mean the same freedom for everyone .

much more accurate!
Interesting video, but she explains why she thought ministry would be too exclusive for her rather than why she would be good as an ordained priest/minister... Is there a second part to this video that explains her change of heart and mind?
It was interesting to discuss with you on MPI in Bangladesh. Your presentation on the indicators and MPI was illuminating.
