New Team Corally Kagama4 Durability Test
Let me know what y'all think. I like this platform from Corally, but we did run into an issue that I assume wouldn't have happened with a little tuning or warmer weather.

I think I did a solid job covering what I wanted to, if you have any questions leave a comment. I'm thinking about doing a matchup with this and the Maxx in the future.

I forgot to mention I also threw on 6s ARRMA shocks and a GPM steering assembly. I say it every video, but I am still very happy with the handling and durability of this rig.

The GoPro doesn't do a good job showing how big of a fall it took. It took no more than 5 minutes to beat the cvd straight and it was back to running again.

Pretty happy with it so far. I think for $529 it should have come with a hardened steel pinion, and a heatsink.
ARRMA Kraton 6S EXB VS Team Corally Kagama
มุมมอง 1.5K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
I'm still new to editing videos, but I think this one turned out solid. Hope this video was helpful. Leave a comment if you have any questions or suggestions. How I strengthened the rear arms was by cutting steel 4mm punch pins to the right length and using those instead of the stock or any aftermarket hinge pins. They seem to be way stronger so far.
Breaking New Kraton 6S EXB & Kagama
มุมมอง 32710 หลายเดือนก่อน
I am a little disappointed with both rigs this video. Sure it looks like the kagama took the harder hit, but we have launched about 8 or 9 rigs on that jump before. And before now, my typhon 3s was the only other one that had been damaged from that jump (bent shocked shaft). Let me know if y'all think I am being too hard on them. Thanks.
New ARRMA Kraton 6S EXB Skate Park Bash
มุมมอง 75011 หลายเดือนก่อน
First break on this rig. Didn't look like a bad landing, but plastics can only take so much in the colder weather. Still very impressed with it so far. I plan on taking it to a bigger skate park and pushing it's limits in the future.

Bashing New ARRMA Kraton 6S EXB Big Sends
What’s the spec of the tyres as hoping they’ll work on the kagama 4s to get that thing flipping?
I'll leave a link to the tires, in the specs it should have everything you need: www.horizonhobby.com/product/1-8-badlands-f-r-3.8-mt-tires-mounted-17mm-black-raid-2/PRO117810.html?adgroupid=170125730349&A%3Amatchtype_&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA6t-6BhA3EiwAltRFGJZdSrVByhy9-KxUMH6dsngyJWzI22bSdBktMBoqf-QbiCMPW1-NrxoC990QAvD_BwE
What did you do, to truggify it?
Just the tires?
@@oscarsonne9168 yep, just the tires
Team Corally plastic is weak ! I'm constantly breaking front upper and lower arms on my Asuga. Always spliting ! And the Kagama 4 is weak ! Check out other videos on TH-cam. Do not buy this car Out of the box its 🐌 And constant breakage !
Most of the reviews I've seen for the Kagama4 have been good feedback. Do you have a link to a video of someone talking negative about it, I'm curious what kinda issues they ran into.
Are you running ur Asuga at a construction site or maybe in really cold weather? My kagama has similar arms and I've never snapped one.
17T with fans and different tires or go to a higher KV motor. I run a 3674 2750kv to get it feeling like a 6s
I was considering running it on 5s and going from there, but I might have to look into that option as well, thanks!
3:30 They say that Arrma isn't as durable as Traxxas due to the weight, but that looked like a pretty big hit. It landed right on the arms from about 40 feet up in the air and was totally good to keep ripping.
I've been told Traxxas has the best quality plastics, but the plastic they throw on these 8S ARRMAs are great quality too. I've had it land bad like that a few times, and the worst that has happened is a bent CVD. That hit was definitely the worst I've crashed it and I was very certain I had finally broken something.
Which one do you like better? You look like you're more confident/consistent with the Outcast.
For sure, I love my X-Maxx, but the Outcast and also my XRT are more fun to drive cause they are more stable and have better air control.
Some nice jumps! Was that a stubborn fly or small bee that keep dashing around the camera? 😆
Thanks! I think it was mostly gnats, there may have been a fly or two there. That location is really bad for that on hot days.
@00:28, thats what she said
LMAO
Great run. Super launches. Very good video 🚀💥💥🚀. Looks like those tires are working great for you. Keep them coming 😝
Thanks! I am a fan of the badlands for sure!
Nice vid! Love the big wheels, like a cat in wellington boots! I know @TpPartsRcXtreme was having transmitter/receiver issues mid jump that were solved by putting a cap-pack on the receiver side. I think his was just dying on him mid jump so may be totally unrelated..
LOL thanks! I'll have to try that out whenever I get another Corally.
very nice run
Thank you! I hope the wind noise wasn't too bad later in the video.
@@MadSpasticRC not at all ! your mod is a nuts so i'm confused to buy 1/10 mt (mjx10208 3s-4s) or this buggy i don't know what is better for the price 😵💫
I don't think you could go wrong with either. I don't own a MJX, but it seems like the RC community agrees they are both great value for the money.
@@MadSpasticRC new leak team corally kagama 4s and punisher 4s is coming
I'm not sure yet, but I'll probably end up picking up one of the two.

Awesome bash! Subbed 😎
Thank you!
It sounds like the drivetrain is seriously binding up or something never heard an RC sound like that
On the XRT or Outcast?
Disregard, I think it’s cause I had my headphones on and maybe stock motors or the fact your mic is extremely good lol, but the outcast does sound screechy coming out of the grass, maybe a dry bearing somewhere? Nice bash regardless keep it up!
Almost sounds like a brushed motor
@@M2C_Kraton8s thanks! I hear what you're talking about, I thought it was screechy too when I regeared it, but I went back to a video I took of it when it was stock out of the box and it sounded the same
Likes and subbed cool ramp u got a vid on that ?
Appreciate it! The ramp is a Fresh Park quaterpipe I had sitting around from when I used to skate.
crazy flips bro awesome truck. I have same one and its a beast :D
Thanks! I put stronger hinge pins in on all four arms and I rarely break them now.
Money not being an issue, if you could only have one, which would it be?
That's tough to answer cause my taste is always changing. Earlier this year my maxx was my favorite basher hands down, but at this point in time I'd probably have to say the Kraton.
Nice sends esp the front flips
Thanks!
i had both of these bashers. Now i have only kraton and its a beast! most durable basher with x maxx i guess. its just a tank. Cool video and skatepark :D
Thanks! Aside from needing stronger hinge pins, and trimming the front arms, the K6 is a durable rig that handles great.
Smokin 🔥🔥🔥 session or 2... You definitely made that front 2 back look good for such a monstrosity! Killer bash.
@@DozersRCPlay-vf4pd Thanks man, appreciate it! 🙏
Awesome rip. It sucks that you got cut short. Those arrma cups came out with the newer 6s models. The same exact breaks happened to me. I have seen it with several other people, too. I usally wait for something to break before I replace or upgrade. Every diff that had them I just changed. They are crap... Still sn AWESOME RIP triples like easy money!
Thanks! I had a spare one laying around so I popped it in, next time it happens I'll probably go aftermarket. What brand diff cups did you go with?
@MadSpasticRC I went to the EXB outdrive cups from M2C. Honestly, I never tried anything else. I do use ADU racing a lot. There other stuff has been affordable and great.
@@DozersRCPlay-vf4pd do you feel the M2C cups fix the issue? I also see M2c also makes the +1mm driveshafts.
@todddavidson9066 Yes, they definitely did. I am not easy on my trucks. I haven't had one break on me yet... With that said, I probably will tomorrow. 🤣 but hopefully not.
This thing looks super durable. Excellent vid. I want one.
Appreciate it! If you can find one used in good condition I think that would be the best route, since $529 is pretty steep for what it is.
That looks awesome!! I’m surprised with the air control. I’m impressed. I love the rustler 4x4 the new ones come with the extreme heavy duty kit, which I think might be sturdier than the a couple of aluminum parts on the ultimate. But idk. 🤷♂️
I would think that the heavy duty upgrades and the ultimate upgrades would make the car handle fairly similar, as for durability I'm curious which one would be the better option since I've had a great experience with Traxxas's heavy duty parts.
Did u make that ramp? I looks like it is nice and mobil to put in and out of your truck. Can u do a video on your ramp build?
I didn't build it, I do have plans to build one in the future. The ramp in this video a FreshPark quarter pipe I had sitting around from when I used to skateboard.
That better not be mine😂
lol yours is still sitting collecting dust
What battery are u running

Hey man, nice vid! Have you had any issues with the stock driveshafts on this bad boy? Ive got a Rustler VXL 2WD, stock shafts blew apart a couple of times, as well as the Traxxas metal CV's.
Thanks! No, I haven't had any issues. That's odd that you would be having issues with the metal ones
@@MadSpasticRC Yeah, Traxxas metal CVs busted apart, pins came loose and then it sheared off one of the ball "cups" right in half. Installing the MIPs tonight.
@@chrisdean8235 You shouldn't have anymore issues, I've heard good things about MIP
just bought it, glad this video exists. thanks.
I'm happy I was able to help!

Great sends!!! Massive air...I had the same deal with my max 6 G2. I thought it was just me. I tried all the different timing, including with the radiolink variables. So many people rave about it. Anyway, great video!
I thought it might just be in my head too, I'm glad you said that. Thanks for the positive feedback!
Yes. Imo newer spektrum electronics seem pretty decent these days. Keep sending it
Massive air wow!
It’s landing nice and soft
I've been very happy with the suspension so far.
Never had any other trucks than arrma oh maybe 1 sledge but still sick sends bro pleasure to watch
Thank you!
Your having to much fun! Nice job. You build that ramp? Probably say in another video but I just came across your channel.
Appreciate it! The ramp is a Fresh Park quaterpipe I had in storage from when I used to skate.
Nice sends, I just order tons of ADU for this rig. I love M2C but they are crazy expensive.
Thanks! I agree, I love to buy American if I can, but their prices are insane, but I still buy from them from time to time. I have a lot of adu stuff coming in too that I'm looking forward to testing out.
@@MadSpasticRC The channel DO RC got tons of ADU parts on the Kagama and beat it up. All the parts held up, no bent parts. I may go with the M2C SHOCK STANDOFF KIT because it’s one piece, thick harden steel. I did get the ADU stand-off, but they use a hex screw. It probably won’t hold up, but it was cheap.
@@jagergerg9771 Have you had issues with your stand-offs or you just upgrading them to be safe?
Perfect skate park
I like the Kagama, it’s different from the usual. Just got the roller, going to upgrade it from the start.
Team corally are better build than the ARRMA! My Asuga takes a beating !
I do like the design a bit better on the Kagama, but I find them both to be very durable. Along with my XRT, these 3 are my favorite truggy bashers that can all take a beating.
Team corally is the best bang for your buck !!
I do like how the EXB comes with more aluminum parts, which (to me) gives it more value for your money, however the Kagama can take as much of a beating without the extra fancy parts, which really shows how well TC designed this truck.
Just got mine an hour ago. It's a little beast.
Been happy with mine so far, it's warmed up since I made this video so I had to add a heatsink and fan to the motor.
😊[Arkdw,biqd]…?!
Nice sends . Has anything broke on 2tf high lawn dart ? Man , it was depressing @ 5days old, still is kind of
Mine needs a front center dogbone but it still runs . Looks a little wobbly in the cup . I know it will eat away the cup if I leave it there slightly warped . Mines a 6s BlX v5 amd the servo went and that shaft from the tiniest lawn dart from a tiny mound of dirt . 😂 I m giving it another chance . Servo is in
Cool , I made my own version of the rustler ultimate by adding some of the parts onto my existing car. I also put in a spectrum motor and esc , quite happy with it , pulls wheelies with the 17 tooth pinion
Right on! I've been considering going up to the 17t, I might order one in the future to see the difference it makes, but so far I'm really happy with the 12t.
I turned one into a 6s blue ultimate! I got sledge hammers on it now. I’m hoping that 4s will be the sweet spot.
Hello! how do you play with the throttle trigger like this, it can cause overheating, because every time you press the trigger, the capacitors charge and discharge very quickly Just as an idea
I've been asked about that a few times, idk why I do it. I just think it's muscle memory at this point. If I end up cooking a motor I'll look into trying to break the habit, but I haven't had any issues so far.
Today my arrma Kraton 6s v5 brand new 4 days ago acted up this Sunday after running 4 s , not hard at all . Some speed runs , some grass , very little dirty gravelly stuff . I stopped to let a dog and when I came back to the car I heard the start up noises and it wouldn’t co pledge the cycle . Seemed like the servo couldn’t find center and then after a couple tries all together quit . Wouldn’t turn on . But if I have the remote off , the car powers up like normal sounds and beeps . Then when I turn in the transmitter and try to go right or left the fan slows like it’s accepting a signal or power but no control whatsoever , no throttle . I tried to reset it but I couldn’t get a green flash . I don’t think it’s the esc but maybe it is . Seemed like it couldn’t get past the steering part of startup to move on to throttle . Can someone offer some advice ? It has to be servo or esc or controller ?
Did you buy it online or from a hobby shop?
Finally a video of the blue one. Thanks bro things a beast
💭🤔Out of 12:42 the Kagama only gets about 3,1/2 what’s up with that?🤨
I think I started bashing the Kagama a little over 7 minutes into the video, I would have sent it more, but I didn't have any spare hex hubs. You're right tho, the Kraton did get a little more screen time in this video.
Hey MadSpastic😎 have you got some Arrma 6s 17mm wheel nuts🧐 spare 😳😳 those are the cheapest and easier way to lock your wheels on and forget about doing it On the Kagama
I cant remember if they were ARRMA nuts, but they were serrated and I used blue loctite. I think once I get stronger hex hubs the issue should be fixed.
