Рама -переделана с помощью болгарки от м72. Кпп-от К750 .Багажник -китайский новодел .Кожухи верхние вилки уши -от м-72 жестяные.На р-71 эти детали литые . Верхняя траверса-м 72.На р-71 траверса имеет отверстие под замок. крышка редуктора -китай. имеет 2 усилительные косынки, на р71 вообще косынок не было. Карбюраторы-PZ-28 китайские копии к-37 или типа немецкие gretziт. Работают к стати отвратительно. Не понимаю .зачем так помпезно выставлять реплику собранную из того что было как аутентичную реставрацию.?

The gearbox the Motor and the transmition at the back is from a Chang Jiang CJ750.

All BMW R71 - are replicas based M-72 details or polish newly made ones, except extremally small amount of original bikes.

Awesome work! I'm looking for a sidecar to continue our trip, the one wheel trailer for our dog is OK, but we want a sidecar. At the end of this year we are shipping our bike from SE asia to north america....we will see, maybe i find one there. Good luck and have fun with the BMW!

Yes! It all started out as a CJ but it takes quite a lot of work to make it look like a BMW R71! I've done more work to it since this video was made....

If the Side car is Chinese, what about the motorcycle, is that also Chang Jiang?

Thank you! The sidecar is a re-worked Chinese tub! It's close to the German design but could use a little more work!

Quite welcome! I'd be happy to share any info that may be of help. I got most of my parts from Oldtimer Garage out of Poland. Blitzbikes bikes has some nice stuff too....I've been a member of the 352 inf. Div. since 1991 but recently started doing events with the 5th Gebirgsjägers....Hindsight being 20/20, you might want to grind just enough off the hump so that you can hammer the rest flat....The more you grind out, the harder it may be to fill in with weld!

Thank you! I spent the better part of three years working on it to get it to this point. Removing the hump from the back sidecar tub wasn't too bad. I used a small high cycle and ground it off. The hard part was filling in the slot with weld. I used small bolts with flat washers to hold things together even. A friend did a beautiful job welding it....
