Testament is in a weird place where he absolutely excels at attacking a particular section of the screen. Vertically it's somewhere near and above where his waist is when he's doing his normal stance, and horizontally it's this 1-2 meter area in front of him. He has tools that let him stay/keep enemies around this area, but he needs to stay on the offensive to do it. As long as enemies are kept around this general area Testament is capable of dishing potentially massive amounts of hurt and pressure. He has options when enemies are farther/closer away but they are limited (usually to specific characters) and are overall risky/require resources. This guy (cgm) seems to go great lengths to sweep->oki/pressure enemies to stay in this zone. He's also pretty good at reading people.
