The would think that the only way you’ll be able to get both of those excursions in, is doing the Mendenhall glacier in Juneau (obviously 🙃), and book the helicopter tour in Skagway (assuming you’re stopping there as well). We met a couple people from our ship that went on that excursion and they had an amazing time (they also landed on a glacier.) The Mendenhall glacier hike was an all-day excursion. My husband and I unfortunately did not go on the helicopter landing on the glacier tour, however, we will definitely be booking that one the next time around! Enjoy your trip! I’m sorry, I’m not really sure what you’re talking about when you say “the rooms”. We walked from our cruise ship to this resort for the day.

To be honest, I think there’s enough around for them to do so they’re not bored (such as the swimming area, in various water sports). Generally, your waiter should be able to send over the correct vendor for what you’re looking to do. For an example, my husband and I wanted to snorkel off of one of the pangas and our waiter sent over the vendor to organize our mini excursion right there at our table. While we were on the panga, we didn’t lose our table, nor did we have to close out our tab at that point… they are very accommodating there, and they strive to make everyone happy. I hope that ANSWER! helps.

As I was trying to figure out what you were talking about, because we were on an Norwegian cruise line ship, I’m only guessing that you’re referring to the ship in the distance… great syrup cay and cocoa cay are adjacent to each other, so their ships can easily be seen from great stirrup cay and vice versa. Sorry for any confusion.

Yes, it’s extremely easy, they’re waiting for cruisers as soon as you leave the shopping area of the port - they’re just waiting for anyone.

Yes, we asked our room attendant and he did it the very first evening. We always empty the refrigerator so we can put some late night snacks in there from buffet.

It was definitely a nice surprise to us; there was a lot more to the Island than what meets the eye. 😊

came here to say the same - while i enjoyed seeing the area it was a bit off putting with the constant flipping back and forth and kind of hard to really take everything in because we were only seeing anything for a couple seconds at a time

Yes, there are restrooms there, they are small portables behind the food trucks.

I’m sorry, I don’t know which excursion you’re referring to. I would be very surprised if they tried to charge you for going down the dock as an excursion. More than likely, it’s one of the other beaches that they would have to transport you to.

I have to admit; finding the best background music for my videos has posed the biggest challenge of creating my content… my choices in music are very limited when using my editing app, “Splice”. When I first listened to that music “Cafe’ Oceano” (which to me, the title also “sounded” Italian) I thought it had an Italian “sound” to it, but after you mentioned Greek, I listened again, and yes, I can definitely hear Greek music now. Thank you for pointing that out, I will try to research my music background choices a little more carefully.
