This is beyond heartbreaking, we lost two very beautiful and two very amazing humans. May they rest in peace and I’ll be praying for their partners/family

I didn't even know them and yet I've been thinking about both of them alot, it was just a huge reminder of my own mortality, and the mortality of those around me. Really just makes me wanna hug all my friends because I never know when will be the last time I see them.

I just learned about this, and damn, this is insane. I never even heard of these two but even then, it's pretty shocking.

Valve index is cool i upgraded from my Oculus Quest 2 and i dont if its a upgrade or downgrade I take as an upgrade there things the quest 2 can't do that the valve index can do but also thing the index can't that the quest 2 can do Customer support is amazing for one, but the headsets technology and features are awesome for example, the finger tracking on the valve, knuckles other controllers are pretty fragile I don’t know about the headset. It depends how you use it if you’re rough with it but that’s why the customer support is good because if something breaks they’ll send you a new one. The 144 hz but it’s still experimental feature the face plate is basically useless on you unless you want to melt your motherboard on your index the face plate is basically useless on you unless you want to melt your motherboard on your index the FOV adjustment and IPD is pretty cool it’s very very comfortable. the cable goes in from the headset to the computer can be pretty fragile I do that. The resolution on the screens are pretty good in my opinion. I don’t know. My conclusion is that the valve index isn’t of course the perfect headset. They tend to break sometimes involve has kind of fake that over the years but for how old it is, it’s still holds up very well as well for the technology that it has.

hey, sorry but the google cardboard is at least a D tier. You can't fight with a 5 $ "vr" headset... its great to have an idea of vr, without investments. Everyone had a phone, and maybe 5$ laying around for a piece of cardboard and 2 lenses...

Why didn't you put the index in S tier? Its the best headset to ever hit the market and for only $1000 how could anyone turn away from such a steal you furry

There are some problems your review analysis and the conclusions you've arrived at. About the Oculus Quest series, I know a lot of people who either currently have or have previously had one, and all of them say they don't like it. They're notoriously fragile, the wireless mode limits performance (especially in VRChat), performance is not consistent even in PC mode, they're a pain to set up tracking with, and Facebook/Meta does not have a good reputation when it comes to user-friendliness & respecting privacy. The Meta store also means some games will be restricted to that platform, and you'll have to repurchase those games should you ever decide to get a different headset. The only reason people buy them is because they're cheap, and cheapness does not correspond to good value. Not a single Oculus system should be higher than C-tier for these reasons. About HTC, the company still makes VR headsets for the consumer market. The Vive Pro 2, XR Elite, and Cosmos are all consumer-focused and still being made. The HTC Focus is the only system intended for business. About the Valve Index, I bet if you actually had one, you would have put it in no lower than the A-tier. The fact you put it in both the B-tier AND below the Quest 2 is genuinely perplexing. I disagree with the argument that it is bad value as you can buy a complete, seamless, & well-performing VR kit for $1000 when HTC is offering the same thing for $400 more in the Vive Pro 2 kit, and the Quests more accurately fit the descriptions of "bad value". You even admit it's one of the most comfortable headsets ever and that it can be adjusted better than other headsets, but you ranked it lower primarily because it's "old" and that the resolution is worse than the Quest 2. First of all, just because something is old doesn't mean it's bad, nor does something being new mean it's good. Second of all, people don't care about resolution THAT much--some people prefer lower resolutions because it gives better frames, and that's part of why the Index is able to hit such high refresh rates. With this information I've provided you, I genuinely encourage you to remake this video from a different perspective.
