Looks amazing. Im watching the day after Veteran's Day 2024. Thank you for your service.
😊 Thank You Bro 😊
Hello, where is the link at?
Your not supposed to anchor to home it’s not structural won’t pass an inspection if ever needed. Probably be just fine but still not right.
That’s facts I been following you and have seen you grow and be successful.
Thanks Robert! I appreciate you brother
How about you skip the political commentary that was your “Let’s go Brandon” shirt. Won’t be watching anymore of your videos
Bye Snowflake

About how much was materials costs I just got an opportunity to build one for a customer! Please let me know asap
Can you say what type of hardware you used on everything. I trying to do that on my 32X80 mobile home
lets go Brandon! from NY and giving it great thought of relocating the family to TN. we're loving the smokey mountain area. can you suggest some good conservative towns to put down roots?
Knoxville is a really good city Crossville is a good one too
Did you ever end up moving? We moved, and live in the Tri Cities area and we absolutely love it here! Just curious if you’re still looking?
@@juliamcholland4245 Hey! we ended up finding 20 acres upstate NY. TN is still not out of the question but i needed to find something closer to current home just in case the sh!t hits the fan. wanted to have a safe place established sooner than later. we have water on the property, georgeous mountain views, in the middle of nowhere & far off the main road.
@@griffintv8614 20 acres! That’s amazing, congratulations! It sounds like it was the right move for you, that’s so wonderful.
what are the dimensions of the deck itself , width and length

We want to see your project not your face. Why do people think they need to film their face when they talk?? We can listen just fine while seeing what we came here for
Too many sheer points.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a brake drum separate. Wowzers. Glad you got it fixed
Beautiful job sir
How did you secure your rafter to the soffit at the gabled roof of the house. I’m building a porch on my manufactured home and I was going to remove to facia metal but if I can do it your way that would make it much easier for me.
Hey Karl, Lets jump on a call and we can talk about it. calendly.com/dudescompanyknoxville/30min

How much to build 10 by 6 gable roof and porch just laber on it
It Cost Around 27K
This is sick
Awesome! ThinkDraft out of Knoxville put this video together for us!

Washing a commercial building in Knoxville TN!
I really like the feeling of walking out the house nice and early for a hard day of work
Great video, thanks. How much did that roughly cost in material? Thanks again
I am thinking that it cost roughly around 8,000.00 in rough material.
Nice build, had to mute the crappy noise music
Looks great, but i thought with a manufactured home that any "additions" need to be freestanding and not attached to the house at all?
I think that’s the rule but if they come get the home they’ll detach the porch
Mine is on land that is always moving. That's why I was concerned about attaching it the the house. Any thoughts?
I appreciate the vet but structurally, that deck has some issues. That vaulted roof should have a ridge beam, not a ridge board … there’s a Hugh difference. This roof will sag under its own weight, if it hasn’t already. In high winds or snow it will deflect even more. I’m too lazy to comment on the rest.
Hey Nate, Great observation. If you watch the next video we address this issue by adding a double header ridge beam and that definitely solved that issue. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Thanks for the update. The connection of the 2x6 to the existing fascia is also another possible failure point. The lower double 2x10 beam you installed with bracing to support the upper 2x6 ridge will work nicely. My other concern is the header beam at the front of the deck spanning 21’. I don’t see it failing but I can see it deflecting about 2” over time. Some post on either side of the entrance would solve that.
@@natej6671 th-cam.com/users/shortsqmTjnOUxotE?feature=share
The header beam in the front is (2) 2x12x21' Even doubled up do you see it being a problem?
th-cam.com/video/zs2Mu_Wo8Sg/w-d-xo.html
those posts should be notched 1 1/2 and the joist laid on them. They have nowhere to go.Your hoping a couple of screws will hold a couple tons , think about it.Foolish,Id never let you on my jobsite.
Can you be more specific, I'm not understanding your complaint. Thanks.
Not only that but only one 2x6 😮holding the rafters, it'll be sagging tonight
Yea it’s dangerous hopefully nobody gets hurt on it
What rsc is commenting on, although the "jobsite" comment is not necessary, is that the beams supporting the floor joists need to be sitting on top of your posts so that downward pressure of the structure is supported by the post and down to the pier. On this project, the way to do that would be the notching of the 6x6 posts so that half of that beam will sit on that post. If you only attach a structural support beam to the side of your post, then all of that downward pressure, which is called shear force, is acting on a little screw or a bolt. In other words, imagine that whole structure being held up by a couple of decking screws. One possible fix would be to come back with a 4x4 with a metal saddle on top and a metal base like he has on the 6x6 and support that beam that way if there is enough room on that pier. Everybody is worried about sagging on the roof, I'd be more worried that he's attached it all to a movable trailer and when that beam fails because of the unsupported weight, it's going to fall a good 2 feet down and RIP that part of the house off. He's done a beautiful job in so many aspects of this build, but I REALLY hope for safety's sake that he will consult a structural engineer to check his work.
Looks good bro
Can you build mine in Penelope tx
Thumbs up guy's
