I'll never understand why they made Yuki appear like such an a s $ h o l e in the anime. Was it like a trend among most anime love stories of all genres at that time to make the main lead an a S s? Yuki had more emotions in the manga and was actually more believably responsive to his surroundings, especially towards Shuichi despite the canon being unbelievably goofy.
