Most of clear shots and one step ahead is dji pocket 2. However, 13 pro max is also next to it. Sometimes dji is doing better, then, iphone. Besides, one prominent things I get which is flexible and reliable about dji, like so much clear shots providing and not so much shaking like iphone. As gimbal is so smoothly on dji. And I am consider to buy about DJI.🤔

To those who said the DJI is disappointing in lowlight: OP made a mistake of setting DJI's ISO and shutter speed to a fixed ISO100 and 1/640. This setting worked well in sunny scene, but made the DJI underexposed in dark areas like 5:32 . Should have put ISO or shutter speed in auto.

it would have been nice to see the hdr mode of the DJI Pocket 2 in the same scene, since the iphone does apply it

i prefer the dji as the sharpness isn't exaggerated. its more natural and there's more depth with better detail. i use my iphone 12 pro max for videos and when you watch your videos on a big screen, its more evident! Nice comparison by the way. I'm looking to buy the pocket 2 for its discreet size and gimbal feature!

dji is best vloging camera.super smoot and small. iPhone is to expensive..but so crispy imge.

Thanks for taking the time to do a video. I am returning my pocket 2. my iphone absolutely kills it in medium to low light, and on automatic. messed with settings on the pocket 2 for hours, video still super grainy. Figured SOMEONE out there can make a standalone video camera that's better than a phone for less money. Still have yet to find one. Just returned a gopro10 as it was even worse than this (for my riff challenge videos #84 is the pocket 2 and #74 is the gopro 10, all others are my ihpone) Also, anything less than 60fps in 2022 is the equivalent to still listening to cassette tapes. it makes me dizzy I can see the difference, maybe because I'm used to intense PC gaming at 120fps+?

dji pocket 2 looks more realistic.

The iphone is set on auto + HDR The P2 from other hand is using ISO 100 + 1/500 ? And zero filters? Unfair vs. personally for me,but anyway. Pocket 2 all the way baby 👍 330€ P2 camera + 65€ for SanDisc Extreme Pro 256GB vs. 1520€ Iphone 256GB....this is almost 4 times more expensive than the P2. But the picture quality is not 4 times better. It's not even one time better 🤣 + the sharpness is too artificial. For me personally the clear winer is Pocket 2 A lot smaller, more versatile, bigger sensor and better lenses with more accurate colors and sharpness.

Can you make an evening video both of them in auto. 4k 24fps. No limitation on iso on the pocket, no filter. Both cameras on auto. Main best camera on iPhone. I saw your other night video and it was too dark.

Hmm yes odd comparison here as the iso and shutter speed is fixed in the pocket 2. Would have been better to set both to auto in my view. But beautiful location 👍🏻
