When once isn’t enough
#japantravel #hokkaido #japan #otaru
This is part 2 out of a 4 part Hokkaido travel series! So if you like what you see, stay tuned for more.
Otaru is an easy addition to any Hokkaido travel itinerary. To top it off, it has a beautiful winter festival- the Snow Light Path Festival, that runs in tandem with the Sapporo Snow Festival. From a repeat visitor, here are my favorite things to do in Otaru, including some festival highlights. We will also see how Otaru differs in the summer vs winter!

The algorithm brought me here and it didn’t disappoint! Thanks for sharing. Subbed now for future content!
Thanks for checking it out and subscribing!
I flew with them in June leaving from sfo to Narita. It was good, I bought in flight meal but ended up not eating any of it because they give them so early in the flight, I like the tinted windows because it was like a sunset the whole way there until the end so it kept it not too bright. I bought their little noodles using the crappy WiFi, it was so cute, it said JAL on it and had a little vegetables inside shaped like a plane. I found that the high light of my flight. But they are very serious about the bag weigh, the carry on that I had no clue about was weighed and I had so much stuff it was impossible to try and arrange so I had to pay an extra $50 for that. But other than that is was great.
Thanks for giving recommendations and showing your experiences in a way that keeps my attention! Great watch, can't wait to see your recommendations for Okinawa :)
Thank you for your comment! ^_^
Oh my word, I had to come back and say I thought you would have milliond of subscribers! Your editing is very crisp and the content is spot on. You're gonna have a huge channel if you keep doing this!

Trump supports Zipair from the US. He wants Japan to be Great Again too.
Cheap eats or highest quality? How do you refuel when you travel?
Just curious which month you visited?
December!
wasn't happy with one of my previous videos on this topic (now retitled "writing jingles..."), and didn't want to burn with mortification every time I recalled visiting some of the prettiest places on earth, so here's my Kyoto redemption vid! Any places you want to go see? 👀
I am going to Kyoto from November 28 to December 2 but I am worried that I will not be able to see the red leaves on those days because according to the third weather report the foliage has arrived very late throughout Japan. Do you think these reports are correct or are they exaggerating? I remember when I went in spring the week I went was supposed to be the best but the cherry blossoms took a week to arrive and I was only able to enjoy it a little in my last days in Tokyo.
You're going at a great time! Peak for most of the sites mentioned in this vid, according to s.n-kishou.co.jp/w/sp/koyo/koyo_yosou_spot.html?&ba=26 The forecasts are to the best of human ability. I do believe cherry blossoms are much harder to predict than fall foliage, and on top of that, they're really short-lived (< a week).
Very nice video and beautiful landscape! Well presented! Enjoyed watching! Done myself few videos for my travel channel if you want to have a look at it ....thank you! New SUBSCRIBER
Thank you! I watched your last video. Stunning footage and music pairing. Made me yearn for the forest haha
You are welcome! Thank you for subs and comments, appreciate!🙏
I can’t make it to the Eastern Sierras this year… an unfortunate truth I’m going to take out on a box of mini pumpkin ice cream cones from Trader Joe’s. What are you looking forward to this autumn?
Is mapple corridor wide? The peak in your video ia still in mapple corridor?
do they open ac during flight?
I guess you didn't shoot these now, right? We're going in October and according to websites, I won’t see such fall colors :(
As far as I know the average time for these colors is mid-late November, and this year is looking to be later than most :( But if you’re going in October, kochia are really vibrant and lovely in Kawaguchiko or Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki!
@@flowerobsessed_ thanks! Unfortunately we weren't planning to go to those places 😔
aw, have a good trip regardless!
Great video. Your voice-over work was great. Keep it up and Good luck.

...guess who just watched Steins Gate for the first time?? It was aired 12 years ago- so no one is searching for this song, much less covers of it. Oh well!! Into the internet void you go!
It may be old, but it's still kino 👌
@@idunnoanymore7308 heck yeah! Kino!
What date is best to go to Fuji Kawaguchiko? Would it be a good idea to go the first week of December to enjoy the autumn leaves?
For the year that I went, I went Nov 12 & 15. It varies year to year so I highly recommend the forecast linked in the description. Right now, peak for Momiji Corridor is forecasted for Nov 17!
"aircraft is a smaller model"..... it's a 787, it's a wide body, not "small" by any means. You should learn different aircraft types if you want to do airline reviews. Having said that, overall review was concise and helpful.
Hello, thank you for thia amazing, honest review. Could you confirm the armrests move all the way up? Seeing that you slept across a row (How lucky! 😁), I assume for your rows, all the armrests could move all the way up? The website states which seats have / don't have moveable armrests -- but not how far the retract up Thank you so much
I'm going to guess that you are an Aries.

I’ve never heard that before, but thanks!

I actually like the lack of food. I usually don't eat airplane food anyway and I prefer to go on a mini diet before going to Japan.
Which month did you travel?
Moving to Aomori! This was helpful.
I always carry an empty plastic soft drink bottle in my backpack. If on a long flight, I bring a larger empty plastic bottle. After going thru security, I fill the water bottle with water before boarding. You can stick the water bottle in the pocket behind the seat in front of you during the flight. I also bring a small empty thermos in my backpack... and when in the terminal, buy coffee from a terminal eatery then fill the thermos before boarding. I also bring a nice cushiony $8 neck pillow which I bought at Ross and sit on it during the flight to keep my butt from getting sore. For my in-flight entertainment, I bring a book to read and a journal notebook to write in.
Thank you for reviewing their internet services, this was also what I'm most interested in!!!
Also a big Yuki Hayashi fan and this was the first concert I've ever went to. It almost feels like a dream, It just blew me away completely!!! Seeing Hayashi live might be one of those things I'll never forget! Your video brought me back so many happy memories!! ☺
I’m sorry, you commented this forever ago and I’m only seeing it now. So happy to meet another Hayashi fan and hear we shared the same incredible experience that day!

This is a very entertaining and informative video. There's not a lot of content on Aomori and their cuisine, so I'm happy you made one! Thank you 😊
May I know the date that u went
Poor you .. 2023 was an early year! This year is not much better but it's my year. I am heading there next week and hope to catch both Hirasaki and Hakodate. You have to plan these meticulously. I changed my flights 3 times (no charge on UA) ...
I'm happy to say that this year is my year too :) I hope you caught them and had a wonderful time!!
@@flowerobsessed_ Yes. We caught both Hirosaki and Hakodate ... I am in Hakadote right now.
@@flowerobsessed_ Btw, Hirosaki was a lot better than Hakodate in terms scenery. It's so beautiful there with the cherry blossoms in full bloom.
Thanks for this. They just started flying from where u live (Vancouver)but I've been really iffy about them because the reviews are remarkably bad!!! I will keep your info in mind while i decide 👍🏼 PS thank you for the shots with the luggage, very good for scale and also for a bit of fun in the video ❤🎉
