Stray Kids performed "GIANT" which is a Japanese song at the Music Bank festival, but as it was going to be broadcast on Korean TV they cut this song from the broadcast.

As soon as they put Ateez on this list, everything else was completely invalid tbh. Idk why all of a sudden people are acting like musical critics as if a year ago, they weren't constantly praising songs with little to no substance or style to it at all

BTS had to overcome a lot for this performance. Jin had broken his finger/had surgery a couple of weeks prior so he sat out most of the choreography until the end. J-Hope and Jungkook were recovering from covid and tested negative just in time to be allowed to perform Jungkook literally had to quarantine in his hotel room in Las Vegas because he tested positive shortly after arriving in the US. And Jimin had his appendix taken out like a couple months before this performance too. They literally had 1 day to rehearse this performance with all 7 members in person and only got the jacket trick right once in rehearsal. But they did such a good job. What a dream come true for them to perform at the Grammys, the first kpop act to do so and so far the only one to do so. My guess is there won't be any kpop acts performing at this years Grammys because none were nominated. I know Stray Kids and Aespa were both featured on albums that were nominated, but I don't think they get the Grammys if those albums win (someone please correct me if this is wrong info). No, there is no kpop category at the Grammys (well at least not yet). BTS were nominated for top duo/group performance 3 years in a row for Dynamite, Butter, and My Universe with Coldplay. They got 2 extra nominations for Best Music Video for Yet To Come and Album of the Year for being a part of Coldplay's album which was nominated. I will say the category for top duo/group is kind of messed up because collabs also count not just actual duos and groups, so they had tough competition.
