P.S. - Just to supply context for everyone, I'm using a clove cigar to keep myself from going into gustatory/olfactory memory with my autism/synesthesia during the interview. I would hate for someone to watch our awesome conversation and focus on the fact I'm using that to stay cognitively engaged. I usually use really strong cinnamon or peppermint mints for the same effect, but I sound rather ridiculous with a mouthful of them, so I hope you'll pardon what seems like an unhealthy habit without context!

Compliant, easy going, quiet students matter too. Schools favor disruptive students and in so doing ROB garden variety, needy students of their educations. Why should compliant students. EVER have to put up with classroom terrorists? Why should hard working students whose best hope at a better life is a good education have to be taken hostage by students who don't care or who are unprepared to do the work because they were passed onto the next grade without being able to do the work? Why are the bad students MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE GOOD STUDENTS? They're NOT! They are LESS important. Put them together and let chaos rule. But to keep them in the class is an ATTACK ON THE OTHER STUDENTS!!! We are COMPLICIT in the the destruction of decent young minds!!! We are not trained psychologists. While I hear that you care, your model is inherently codependent! It is making the problem WORSE! WHO ADVOCATES FOR THE C+ and B level students? WHO IS THEIR VOICE when Johnny and Cindy act out and make learning IMPOSSIBLE? Why do the the B level students get to be thrown away? If a kid taps disruptively on the table, send them to the office and put them with the other desk tappers. Behavioral plan? Are you kidding me? THE KIDS WHO DON"T NEED THEM MATTER TOO!!!!!!!!!!! Parents have to get involved and take a stand. GET THE MONSTERS OUT OF MY CHILD'S CLASS!!!! We don't care why they act out. We just want them out. Time is the only thing teachers really have and you promote WASTING precious time on disruptive students. Time that could be spent on the garden variety obedient students who NEED YOU TO PROTECT THEM!! If you paid good money to go to a Broadway Show and someone in the audience stood up and started singling loudly, laughing, and acting the fool in the middle of the performance, would you want the person removed? Then why don't you remove these kids the second they do the same in a classroom? If they cannot behave for whatever reason, then they don't belong in a regular classroom. I'm not saying kids need to be perfect. We all have lapses in judgement or we get distracted, but outright disruption is UNACCEPTABLE. MY OBEDIENT KID MATTERS TO
