@@CraigParker-ud1sb it was actually on Barry’s, mine was being fixed so I had ago on his in the little car park out the back and smashed all my face in on the ground, it was the only time I didn’t have my helmet on and camera 🤦🏻‍♂️

Well funny you should say that, because today I had my first proper crash and face planted the floor, I always wear a helmet but as mine was getting repaired I had a go on Barry’s Solar P1 out the back in a car park and went straight over the handlebars I’m seeing if I got any footage of it.

Sorry to hear that mate I come off my mine the other day, my own fault no the scooters. Question is though, are you going to repair it and keep it or sell it? And get the GTR ?

My face is in agony this morning, mega black eye, scabs everywhere 😕🤕 at the minute I’m definitely thinking about getting the GTR in the spring and summer, I might keep mine cause it’s been a great scooter, might do some bits to it and make it faster lol but now I’ve had this crash I’m not so sure 🤔

@@scootersquires Dude, the GTR cannot go 60+ mph. The top speed is 52.5 mph with a 200 lb rider standing up. That is the true speed, not the false reading speed from both the speedometer on the scooter and most GPS apps people use. They all read higher.

@noobz5056 the top speed on a GTR is 65 mph, I was going down hill too, it’s definitely not as slow as you say.

@@scootersquires Yeah that's a marketing 65 mph not a true speed. There is a big difference as most companies overrate the speed to get the customers to buy their products. Try using COOL NIKS gps, or make an arrangement to have a cop gun you with a laser gun. The result is disappointing..

@@scootersquires Plan on replacing the controller and the motors with an aftermarket single motor-powered controller and a genuine 72V 3500W motor (not the fake underrated motors the GTR uses) because your scooter will fail soon, your controller and eventually the motors, both motors. All the seller will do is just replace the controllers multiple times only to find out repetitive failure and the motors will eventually break because of the faulty designed controllers. The one you got is the lastest controller version but has the same problem. Expect problems coming soon.

Love watching your videos, although I don't ride scooters I do all these sort of rides on my mtb all the time. Can imagine it's a challenge on the scooter navigating these trails at time.

@@scootersquires Yeah it's fun and I'm always riding the same areas as you guys always good seeing people ride the same routes, recently went for a ride up Blaenavon opposite the keepers pond, it's got some great gravel tracks it's one of my latest vids.

@@brentowen4453 I’m not sure what the good ones are, I’ve only had my off road tyres on a short period of time and the front one is nearly gone already, I’m going back to road tyres.

I’ve been on my scooter up and down my street at 5.30 this morning just in single motor. It feels odd after bikes I have to say . Not sure yet . I’ll have a go in the customer’s field in a hour or two . I hope I like it I’ve been waiting long enough . I’ll be out then lads . Sunday I’m hoping if you are . I’m going to cwmcarn Saturday on the e-bike 👍

I’m pretty good on motorbikes and e-bikes mountain biking bud but this is something I’ve really wanted to try and I’m shocked how hard it feels at the moment . It’s just odd . I’ve only done 2 mins up and down my street this morning that’s it I’ve never been on one before and this Gtr is pretty big for my little legs . I’m sure I’ll come good same as everything buddy it’s just practice. When I’ve watched all the TH-cam vids I thought , I’ll do that I’ll be jumping and sliding etc . Now I realise it ain’t that easy

@@scootersquires I’ve gone for the hybrid bud for now . Bit of both . I’d probably go for Offroad but I’ll have to see how it goes . It’s all a bit different to what I expected. Well a lot different 🤪

@@brentowen4453 you’ll be fine on that mate, it has about 112 mile range (depending on riding) we normally do around 20 miles per ride and I always have more than half my battery left so you’ll be fine, no range worries on yours 👍🏼 and don’t worry.. you can stay away from the edges lol 😂

@@Prof.Polymath It hasn’t got cruise control, I quite like it on full power, I put the settings this way, it is a lot harder to feather the throttle but I don’t often go slow lol 😂

Haha 🤣 I’ve literally just come from 15 mile of off road trails 🤟🏼

Definitely a big difference, they are very noisy on roads lol the only thing I don’t like is as soon as you ease off the accelerator they slow you down quite quickly.

@@scootersquires Yeah it's kind of similar on the P1 3.0, they sort of slow you down, I think they're classed as hybrid tires, not strictly off road or on road.. kinda like a baldy off road I think lol, I've never had anything but knobbly tires and I suppose I'm used to it, but glad it's making a big difference for ya man
