I helped a man that had a ground mill and one of his favorite sayings was , " it don't pay much boys but it ll make a man out of ya. No idea I'd spend 33 years sawfiling for IP and West Fraser.

Mike is proud of you for what you have done with the mill because you are carrying on his tradition and standard for excellence. Don't let the haters get you down Shannon. I personally like what I see and how you do things. Everyone starts at the bottom and has to claw their way to the top. You got this made in the shade with a good cold glass of lemonade. Our shed is about 30 feet wide and 70 feet long and the only metal bought was for over the husk one year we had the scratch. The rest of the off bearing side is repurposed from a pole barn I salvaged which was erected during Vietnam! The infeed end is getting covered this fall we got the materials more salvage and that’s how we can afford to do it. We set up the mill in 2016 and it’s still not fully covered so don’t feel bad! Now we extended it to 85’ long for the edger! Thanks Mark 😂😂😂 it’s a labor of love and patience. Be well Shannon

I’ve had friends most of my life from down south through caving exploration when I was younger.
