I cant decide what version i like better. Both have their places. Paul sounds angry that he's searching for his absentee father while Bruces soaring vocals makes the song sound hopefully. I love it

I never could stand. Paul's vocals. Out of the three singers that have been in Maiden, I just couldn't stand Paul's voice. I love the first two meeting albums but I usually fast forward just to hear the music

This song is full of energy and with Bruce is running on racing fuel octane 104. His voice takes it to another level, powerful voice. His the best metal frontman

Bruce is all over the place on this. Sounds like he's exploring how to approach it as opposed to being faithful to the original. He's trying to do too much, make it too dramatic. Pacing is uneven too. Feels like he's reaching for low notes on "now I spend my time..". Just seems like change for the sake of change. I've never thought Bruce had a grasp for the Di'Anno material. Paul is really underrated.

I always had curiosity about what those two first albums could sound like if Bruce was in the band at the time they recorded them. When I listened to it in 99 I was pretty sure both albums would sound even better (No disrespect towards DiAnno, I love him too). They should have done the whole album. Damn, it would be awsome.

I have every maiden album and have much respect for Paul.....Bruce......And Blaze but for me Bruce is the voice of maiden.
