@@livinginsanantonio-artmeister I'm not at that bracket yet. I'm in school rn for business management. And I don't trust builders. So I don't think I would just buy a new home. I would build one. Probably. When I get done with this one probably next year some time

@@Johnepumper Sounds exciting! This is a great area of San Antonio and the city is certainly trying to build the infrastructure to support the growth. It's a long process as you know, when you decide to build a home - maybe even longer if you do it yourself. I admire those who have the skill to do it. I know and understand how frustrating the current market can be. Agents who make real estate a career, understand how to help people buy homes. We weren't born with a "silver spoon in our mouths." Hard work and saving money allowed us to buy our first home. We didn't have "first time homebuyer programs" like you have available today. Are you familiar with those? I can tell you first hand, not ALL agents are familiar with them so they can't help. Buying a home is a process and you and your agent must understand that. All things are possible - and everyone gives something up because there are NO perfect homes. Understanding home ownership is process means that you must follow it. I look forward to your reply.

Right now we are looking at different areas that are not more than 45 minutes away from the University of incarnate word. That’s where I will be attending graduate school. And looking to purchase my first home.

True, that's sad this time of year when both Texas teams are trying to get to the World Series. We do have the Spurs and our problem continues to be lack of support. What city are you living in? Does your city have major league sports?

Actually this home was built in 1999. The wood floors are beautiful and the granite in the kitchen - well, I don't know about the first or second home you purchased, however I do about about my clients! We's say it's gorgeous and 3000 sf? and 2 bedrooms downstairs? Wow. Tell me about your first 2 homes. Look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Emilia and thank you for your questions! The Northside and Northwest parts of San Antonio are very popular with the Northwest experiencing the greatest growth. Average home price around $325k. Many from out of state feel our property taxes are high - you have to understand that there is no state income tax. In California your state income tax is 9.5% - far more than our property tax of approximately 2.5% of the county appraised value. Our cost of living is also substantially less. No crocodiles but do have bugs. Most of us pay for exterminators to keep them out of the house! We do have some hail at different times and I’ve seen one flood in my 25 years here. We do have humidity that the ladies say “adds moisture to the air and our skin and keeps our skin healthy!” There are a couple of videos and shorts where I address the taxes and cost of living in San Antonio. @@zacharytaylor6677 Yes there are street "lights" - they are the dorative street lamps designed to provide "some" light and not make it look like daylight in the evenings. It's a single decorative pole with a light at the top approximately 12 feet high. What else can I help you with?
