Spray painted layers, starting light yellow, orange, red, then cover everything black. Played a bit with settings to get the right amount of burn. Best to practice on cheap small canvases first. Also, let each layer dry for a day. Time consuming, but worth the result.

I use poster board with the laser, it is an Xtool D1 pro. The laser is 10w and I use 90% power and 10 speed. Not sure if you can cut mylar with a laser, it would create very toxic fumes. I use a cricut with a deep cut blade for Mylar. Hope that helps.

This one was an acetone (plastic) sheet I cut on a cricut machine. Nowadays I just use poster board and cut on a laser. I got these plastic binder sheets at Walmart but you can get them on Amazon too.

These are plastic binder dividers I got from Walmart and were cut with a Cricut machine. Nowadays I just use poster paper and cut with a diode laser. Hope that helps.

I get old records at flea markets on the cheap, nothing I would listen to.
