Yes certainly not what's depicted in western media. Women walking around freely, many with their hair "shock horror" uncovered. Couples holding hands & no sign of religious police chasing after these groups beating them with sticks. This is most definitely not like present day Afghanistan. But large numbers of Iranians are running to western countries , even risking their lives crossing the English channel on unseaworthy boats in order to claim political asylum. That is a fact, not western propaganda. So the question is why ?
