For the house battery, did you use a stock battery box like out of a boneyard, or was it aftermarket I would like to the same to my van. Thank-you for any info you can provide.
Weird thing is the pain of plates and screws was worse than the crash. Sorry to hear about the broken leg guy, I remember you guys off the trail, sorry i didn't stop. First Aid was thin out there.
Rough man. :[ I was #408 on Saturday. Stopped for a little while with the racer above Sutro Canyon with the broken leg. You would see a green bike and probably a blue bike out in the really rocky open switchbacks above where you took your big spill. You rode out with a broken clavicle and seperated shoulder?! Gnarly.... ugh.
I'll try again next year, or maybe I'll park at the base of that canyon and provide tools & First Aid. Kind of surprising the only First Aid was in the PITs.
Yeah, great race... did it for the first time this year. Way to save your bike! Sutro seemed to be the first crux & you were just about to get there! Bummer about your injuries but there's always next year. Thanks for posting the vid!

it was a stock box. it took some cutting, and welding but worked out nicely holding the 100AH lithium iron on its side.
@@MrBrettlehman Thank-you, I appreciate the info.
Super nice. What materials were used for the bed panels???

Sold, quite a while ago.

1 month later - plate and screws on my collar bone $8,500, total medical costs $24,500 so far.

I spun the barrel to get out of the pack.... and the chamber came up loaded.
Heal quick man. Even the small rocks seem to try and yank you down. You went down hard.
