I got them from an eBay seller bud, he listed them as an B6 Passat headlights so I got them lot cheaper and also the US side markers came off a guy who was breaking them, I’ll be uploading a video soon about them :) stay tuned

Great video, very informative, I got Skoda vents in mine but not wired up as I don’t want green leds , came here from Fb (Steve McKenna), I have swapped my Skoda hazard switch out for usb ports instead, but from what I know the loom from your oem hazard switch is long enough to reach up to the vents

Ive never heard about bleeding the oil system, as long as you prime the turbo before putting the oil feed back on it should be all good to go! I’ve done over 700 miles so far and no problems since I’ve changed it

Hey, nice video I got a Passat b5 and it got white smoke coming from the exhaust even when its in idle,,,what could be issue?
Hi bud, if it’s thick grey/blue smoke that will be turbo seals or your turbo has gone, os there a lot of oil coming from around the turbo? or if it looks like white that’s normally head gasket, best way to check if it’s head gaskets is to check oil and see if it’s milky, or see if your coolant is dropping,
Love it mate really thinking of buying a b5.5 for next car has to be pd130 but what are they like for fuel economy? i do 95% of town driving and im very harsh driver too but been told these passats really can handle it but only having 5 gears actually annoys me
@@alexdennison6265 I would deffo go for one, they’re brilliant on fuel on a long drive can get a 1000 miles out an full tank and but i do a lot of town driving also and £20 get me about 150 miles all together which I don’t think it that bad And you can get 6 speed version but the gears are like chocolate 5 speeds are a lot better boxes! Also they’re cheap to buy so anything goes wrong you can fix it yourself for next to nothing!
I also have these grilles in my Passat. I moved the pins to the middle emergency button.

@@daleevans9029 that’s the whole point of it, for it to sound like a tractor 🚜 👍🏻I mean who doesn’t like that? And it smokes on start up because it’s been decatted which is total normal and I did say it was a bodge but it holds up well for what it is 😃
