Please Join me as i set out on a mule deer hunt on my 3rd day of Washington state modern season. Although this hunt was super slow. Loins buddy. Loins
@@SilenceDoGood4th some of the best on the planet. Very thankful to be able to even pursue these great creatures in there natural habitat.
Always like deer walking through camp.
Great content
How many elk were in that herd that came up over the hill?
we Stopped counting at 75 elk. These elk came over that ridge top for 9 straight min, pretty crazy day in the elk hill's. Stay tuned for part 2
Always like starting off with seeing a herd of elk or deer depending on the season. Little better audio next time so the snow is not to loud in the mic.
We are still learning with this stuff and appreciate your feedback.
Love the content. Man, great job
Thanks man appreciate the kind words, Please stay tuned for part 2 of this hunt. Thanks for watching.
You get them next time let’s hope
Thank you
You will get em next time
thank you we will keep diggin
lets go Finally another long format video. hopefully hunting season is treating ya'll good.
We are putting in the time but the bucks have been really elusive.
Hell yeah bro where that at?
lets go, late archery mule deer hunt.
Does this happen to be up rock creek rd?
Same area as where the elk were
@ yeah that’s where we’ve been hunting this whole time and saw just two cows from the truck. If you saw a grey ford with a canopy that was us lol. But yeah I think we’ll try that area what’s the best way to hunt it if you don’t mind me asking
@@VantageOutdoors548 not to sure how you hunted it but when we hunted we spent the night back there its over about 3 canyons over from the road you were on.
@@PNWBCH24yeah we went up this road across from that lighted rv park and the road led up to bald mtn road. So you’re saying go up rock creek and then hike over the ridges on either side?
Also quick question how early do you try to get up there. We try to get up there and getting out of the truck while it’s still dark
Yes sirrrrr
I actually think I saw this herd heading towards the feeding station area
@@VantageOutdoors548 its very possible.
@@PNWBCH24 yeah idk. I think we’re gonna head out towards the Nile/352 unit and see what we can find. Great content bro and thanks for what you do good luck my brother
@@VantageOutdoors548 Thank you i appreciate that. Content will get better and more long format videos are comming i promise.
@ awesome!! It’s nice that you hunt where I do because it kind of gives me a perspective of what’s out there. You hunt public land right?
Damn idk how you’re finding these elk😂
Look for watering holes and they seem to only be in about a foot of snow seems to me they dont wanna be to low or to much higher from there. Find the snow line and hike in till you get into about 8 or so in of snow you should start to see them. If you go into a canyon amd they are not there you can choose to wait it out or hop on over to the next ridge and just keep doing that until we find them. Then the next day just go tothat same spot where you found them and they should be there unless some other hunter comes in and blows it out which is what happened to us on our 3rd day out.
Where is this?
342 gmu.
Oh wow we are hunting pretty much right next to each other today🤣
@@VantageOutdoors548 thats crazy.
Gosh where are you finding so much elk in Washington!!!
I have counted close to 260 head of elk. They are in big heards. We had a guy try to stalk in on them and instead he blew the whole canyon out. Crunchy loud snow does not work for stalking.
What county?
@@VantageOutdoors548 yakima county
@@VantageOutdoors548 thank you for commenting.
@@PNWBCH24 no way that’s where I live!!!
Heading out first thing tmr morning for a spike!
We’re going up near the Nile but a little further down the road where we’ve scouted out pretty good
Good luck to my buddy on his season. Should be a wild ride for him he plans on a 2 day solo bavk country hunt which should be fun and he will be sending his short cideo content. What part of the state is this?
Central washington
Yessssss
Slayyy
2024 has been a wild hunting season. Alot of ups and downs.
I love both im torn between the both. I love being in the back country.
Open country. Back country is just too far out of the way. Most areas would have little to no vehicle access, so if you hiked in 30+ miles and found a big buck, it would be difficult to hike out the meat. Just imagine a trophy guy taking the head and leaving most of the meat. You would have to be physically prepared to hike 60lbs of gear minimum in and 120+ out.
🎉
1 Deer 1 elk for the group so far. Elk modern contiues for us this week and weekend.
Almost had it. Keep diggin.
Get better 😢
Ya i hunted modern my first 2 seasons then went to archery. Biggest reason was cause all the people. But its public land hunting. Onto day 2. Full vid to come soon.
