Does the front box stay dry? Are there drain holes in the channel where the lid drops in?
no everything is more or less damp storage. theres channels but they drain into the back on the hatch and not off to the side like other dry storages
How much does it draft? Can you get in 6 inches of water with it???
@@jefflovesdogs9973 depending on weight placement 6 inches is nothing i can put around with the motor trimmed up no problem.

that’s with the trailer and AFTER all the taxes. i’d have to look and see what it was before hand but you’re right someone is making money off me lol
@@joshohoroI bought mine for 28 all though mine is not the center console model which I believe is more expensive I think I got a good price
@@Mffl1014 yeah the hydrologic steering is definitely a bit more but i like it a lot just can’t dig into a lot of the same places a tiller steer can
@@joshohoro yea that’s the main reason I got mine cause I mainly use it to duck hunt so getting into shallow water is a big must for me

Would you mind telling me the total length from trailer hitch to prop? Trying to figure out if this model will fit in garage. I can’t find that info. Thanks.
hey man i pulled a tape measure and it’s between 26-27 foot from the hitch to the prop

Would you get the poling platform if ordering it again?
i would… it comes off with 4 bolts! i use it fishing and the kids love jumping off it into the lake. i have my sound bar mounted under it now
Yeah I can see some uses for it now.
How dry is that boat in chop?
pretty dry behind the console. i posted another update video and you can see some footage at the end of me hitting some speed boat wake and it not really splashing a whole lot
Always wondered, how those motors handle 100% Ocean water, as far as maintenance etc.
i know there’s a couple fishing guides down in florida who use them in all saltwater. i’ve taken mine a few times down to the beach but i cleaned everything really well afterwards.

@@CaptDavesSportfishing look up salty stash charters. he runs redfish guides out of one of these in the crystal river area. i think gator tails youtube page had a interview of him talking about it and running it actually.

they were super easy to deal with and tossed in a couple extra drain plugs and dock lines before i left. will definitely be going back if i get another boat

hit 32 with me and fishing gear but i usually cruise around 25-26

Beautiful boat sir, how many inches will your boat float in? And what's the empty weight? Im looking for a boat to go gigging flounder and drum. Im in South Texas.
it will float shallower than the trolling motor will pull it. maybe 6 or so inches. had it in less than that running the big motor pushing through mud. i rigged lights in the front i need to post an update video

How tall is the poling platform? Curious if it will go through garage door.
Nice boat.looks real solid and safe
Move your trim pin up to the top hole. Me as well as multiple other people have noticed we gain a few more rpm at WOT which equates to more hp from being higher in the power band. The major plus to moving the trim pin to the top hole is that when you mount your trailering bracket your motor will be noticeably higher and you’ll have a lot more clearance from impacts when trailering
appreciate the advice! i’ll give it a try i was looking at the pins the other day wondering if moving it would make any difference this is my first mud motor so any tips are welcomed for sure

i think i would rather have the leave post i stand up most of the time while driving
Put a short pedestal on that back seat to sit higher. No need for leaning post
