Incredible performance. Congratulations to each and every singer AND to the artistic director and, of course, to the musicians. I haven't heard a better performance of Copland's Promise of Living.
Question: How do you instantly turn a group of kids in ordinary clothes into stars; into people of substance and meaning and warmth and truth; into world-changers; into people who can fill and warm a heart even as they break it ? Answer: give them a piece of transcending, incomparable, unique art from that world-known genius trio of Copland-Everett-Holy Spirit. I have never seen an audience coming across this that is not completely lost in stunned admiration and wild enthusiasm for the majesty and beauty of what they have encountered. Of course: it's God lifting back that curtain just a little for us. My only other thought ... a bit of sympathy for the duo that had to come on as the next act after this (05:33). It takes a moment or two to "come down to earth" after "The Promise of Living" has been performed ... but far better still if we never allow ourselves to do that. I can surely recommend that, given the 7 gifts the Spirit/Paraclete has to offer those who love It/Him.

The knowledge of Good and Evil. The angels were literally astronauts who travelled back in time including the LORD god of Genesis 2+ who is the LORD of the ship and a super soldier with the ability to stem cell clone (eve) make a man from the dust (Adam) plant a garden with the knowledge of agriculture and cultivate for himself food which he can also make and hybrid other food with his genetically modified technologies. He told the other astronauts not to mate with the people of the earth in that time because our DNA was different and corrupted whereas the mankind of the earth were pure. They went against the commander, as did Adam and Eve, and as he predicted everything on the earth became corrupt, the DNA of animals, man and food, so he used his HARRP machine to flood the earth and here we are all over again, the future visiting the past and the past’s knowledge is today’s and the future’a knowledge and we are now stuck in some time loop of doom. It’s pretty crazy.

John Walker and why end the song right there? Isn’t it supposed to go on a little longer? What a bad way to end a generally good performance.
Tom Geraci, the sheet music that I've seen (and sung from) did end it right there, and with a minor chord. Not sure about that last soloist, though - we didn't have that solo part.
