Thanks for sharing. You’ve hit on many of the same issues & feelings I’ve experienced engaging with/within the social media “bubble” mindset. (Not sure just how to express that any more clearly.) But, yeah, you’ve jogged my thinking in a new direction, which comes at a timely moment as I’ve recently made many similar realizations as you share here. ☮️

ugh, you're so right. Social media is like, collecting people. I'm one of those people that as soon as I meet someone I get along with I'm like "Omg lets be facebook friends!" because I guess I just want to hold onto people I like... but sometimes that's not an organic connection.

I love this video / convo! I’m half way through and you’ve pinpointed a ton of great points! As for me, I had no plan to delete Instagram off my phone, however 4 days ago when I was purging 100gb of photos, I decided to go ahead and delete IG. (It’s the only social media app I have on my phone aside from TH-cam). I also put my phone in “grayscale” and doing a total digital detox. The last few days I have noticed tremendous changes already! From tapping back to my creativity, being focused and feeling my mind is sharper - to sparking convos with people in real life.

I liked the part about how IG is about being in a relationship with the performance image of other people. I had never really considered IG that way but it makes sense. It literally filters your relationship with others. I have been off all social media except TH-cam and WhatsApp for 2 months. It’s tough because the addiction is strong but I do feel a stronger inner peace. I deleted my accounts because deactivation wasn’t enough to keep me off for longer than 3 weeks at a time.

Social media, especially Instagram, exposed some of my friends’ altered personalities. For example, I had deleted Instagram last year due to the main reasons you mentioned in this video. A friend of mine, who had known of all of my personal reasons for deleting the app, had recently posted a picture and wanted me to like it. He knew that I didn’t have the physical capabilities of doing such a thing at that time, and so he says, “just get the app back and like my picture. You can delete Instagram another time.” And he didn’t realize how rude he sounded, despite knowing all of my reasons. Likes, comments, and the pressure to post really does change your thinking, making you tone deaf to the real world.

Social media has gotten completely blown out of proportion. What started as a way to post locally and share with friends has turned into a intricate business model with the target of making the user the product. Now they control what we think and what we consume every day.

I love this idea. I unfollowed a ton of people, even family because I don’t need to know what everyone is doing all the time. I also stopped posting stories. My life was so peaceful before I had instagram and I worked out more and did more writing and focused on being happy in my own life. So I want to get back to that. I’m over 40 too so no one cares about my life or likes my posts

May I offer two suggestions? 1. Yes, your squash are wayyy too thick. One squash hill would take up all of your raised bed. I suggest that you prepare the ground around the bed for 5’ to 10’ out to become “squashetory”. 2. Jerusalem artichokes are a good tie in to your ideas. They are not an artichoke; they grow up like a slender sunflower. The roots develop bulb-like thingey-doos similar to potatoes. These plants like poor soil and full sun. They would do well in a location removed from your raised beds; some orphan corner of your lawn? Suggestion 2.1 is to grow some herbs, say, sweet basil and sage, as border plants along edges of your flower beds. My “garden” is a patch of peppermint about 4’ X 4’. Dried down, it makes wonderful tea, and maybe a mint julep.😏 Courtesy of Half Vast Flying I congratulate your experiments. Experimenting is fun, develops us toward self improvement efforts, and are knowledge bases to expand us. Good on ya!!

Why does everything happen in 3's Everything in the Universe is in a 3 in 1 configuration Why? Something has to die in order for you to live Plant or animal they have to die for you. Then you bury it in your belly and the nutrients are raised to every cell in your Body Sunrise Sunset Yes the earth revolves around the sun But it appears as Sun Down it is buried in the heart of the earth and raises again You take a seed it's dormant and bury it in the ground expecting it to come up. You take your dirty dishes after you eat and you bury them in water then after the burial, they are raised back to the shelf Someone will say I'm dead tired Then they bury themselves in the blankets expecting to raise again Light enters your eyes as light energy Why am I saying all this I am giving you different manifestations from the world you live in of a Death, Burial, and a Resurrection The universe was created and he has proven his own existence beyond a shadow of a doubt This that I said doesn't even scratch the surface In the book of Exodus There was a pattern given to Moses a 3 in one configuration The Tabernacle Pattern of the Universe That tabernacle and your body are one in the same It fits together so tight That is how spirit has proven it's existence by making every aspect of the physical universe by one pattern. One pattern for everything You said it yourself Science will provide the answer It is possible for you to know In the fall the trees go dormant the leaves drop from the trees Then comes the burial in snow the the spring life returns That shows the Death Burial and resurrection Yahshua His name is Yahweh and he put his name in you You breathe his name You inhale Yah and you exhale weh You go down to the sea shore and you are going to hear the waves roar YAH as they hit the shore and weh as the waters rush back into the sea You say well I don't believe in god I don't either Don't believe in Lord God or Jesus But I do believe in YAHSHUA He is The Archetype (original) Pattern of the Universe He has made it possible for you to know him as he really is and actually exists

So easy thank you. Love how quick this video was. However it didn’t mention what kind of yarn eg. cotton or it’s weight. And when you say “slip stitch into the base of the leaf” it would have been helpful to say this was the 4th stitch of the 4 we stitched after the first 10. It could also be confusing to say “chain 10, leaf”because you need to chain 4 after the 10 to make the leaf. this makes sense to me but I’m just saying beginners may be confused by this. I had a little trouble finishing off the flower confused how to end the flower. I guess I’m just use to attaching a round to the beginning of the one before so it felt weird to slip stitch and knot ends but it worked and headband is very cute!
